I purchased blinds from The Shade Store and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, the service has been abysmal and the quality of workmanship appalling.
Firstly, the blinds were delivered to the wrong address, causing a delay in installation. When they were finally installed, it was a disaster. Install #1 resulted in all blinds being incorrectly installed, damaging my walls in the process. Not only were they installed incorrectly, but they were also damaged, making them look cheap and shoddy.
To make matters worse, one of the blinds fell, injuring my mother in the process. This could have been a serious accident, and I am appalled at the lack of care and attention to detail that has been displayed throughout this entire process.
When they came out to install the blinds again, they were done incorrectly for a second time. They are crooked, uneven, and look completely unprofessional. To add insult to injury, they installed the wrong color rod, promising to replace it but never following through.
I reached out to Carlos, the sales rep, who referred me to corporate. However, corporate refused to fix anything, leaving me stuck with blinds that are not only unsightly but also potentially dangerous.
I am beyond disappointed with The Shade Store's lack of professionalism, disregard for safety, and overall incompetence. I strongly advise anyone considering using their services to think twice.

We got some new shades from the shade store. They look great! Carlos was a huge help in selecting the right fabric and type of shade that would work best. I would recommend them highly.

Carlos has been working as my sales consultant from my previous home to my current and I literally cannot say enough positive things about him and my experience with the Shade Store. The service is next level, and that is also in perpetuity of the high-quality products - you will receive excellent care for a life time.

I ordered shades for both an office, and a bathroom from the Santa Monica Shade Store. I was helped by Carlos, who is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He made the process very easy, and I am very pleased with the quality of the product. The employees who measured and installed the blinds were also great.

I think so much of your experience is down to the professional with whom you interact. If you can get Carlos Reyes, consider yourself lucky. He was patient, knowledgeable and professional when I was considering a long set of motorized drapery to cover a 16 foot span. The end result was stunning, and Carlos helped guide me through some hiccups. Really top notch, down to the guidance of Carlos.

Carlos at the Santa Monica store was fantastic. He was super helpful in helping us choose our shades and and stayed in contact with us throughout the project. We had a problem with misinformation for delivery and a faulty blind which was why it's not 5 stars, but Carlos' care and support in handling rescheduling and ordering beyond our original order helped make us happy customers.

We had such a great experience at The Shade Store. Upon walking in, Carlos Reyes greeted and took care of us with such attention and care. After helping us find the best samples for our space, we took them home to make our final decision. Then, with just a few short emails with Carlos, we had our order completed and installation scheduled. Carlos was even able to get the installation moved up by weeks once our shades were delivered. This was such an enjoyable and easy experience, I can't imagine ever going anywhere else for shades and drapes!

Maria was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. She was so helpful picking out our shades and window coverings. She came to our house and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. She ultimately helped us pick out beautiful choices for our home. She was easy to work with and very responsive. I went back and forth many times to make sure I was making the right choices and she always made time to walk through it all with me. Installation was done beautifully. They showed up on time and worked hard all day. Our house was totally transformed. Everything looks beautiful. I can't thank Maria and The Shade store enough for an impeccable job.

Love the company. Product, staff and installation is outstanding. They will work with you to make sure you get what you really want and in a very timely fashion. A little more pricey but worth it when you are provided great product, service and staff who are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. They keep you informed during the whole process from selection, ordering, measurements and installation. Plus they have a life time guarantee on their product and work.Very happy with the results.
