I visited here with my son last Saturday. I splurged $88 on a firefighter costume
If you're willing to splurge a little for a lot of joy, this toy store is where to be. However, if you're pinching pennies and normally buy your kids' toys on Amazon or Target, you will probably find this store pricey. This place is different from your run-of-the-mill toy shop. It has a great location and excellent customer service.
Pros:
? High-quality toys: 10/10, hands down!
? Beautiful wooden wonders galore.
? A+ customer service – they're like happiness wizards!
? Eye-catching displays that'll make you want to stay all day.
Cons:
? Pricey, no denying it.

The giant box stores and then the internet have taken over businesses like this and I'm so glad a store like this still exists. Very clever and unique toys for children that they will love. Worth the trip and your kids will love it.

Was shopping for a birthday present for a 2-year old boy. Saw a guitar and asked what other colors do they have. Instead of answering my question, the saleslady said “It is very expensive.” To me it was a very rude reply and of course I felt offended and I made it known to her. She said what she meant was that the guitar is for a beginner and not for a 2- year old. Be that as it may, that saleslady was very unprofessional and came across to me as discriminating. Did she see me as someone who couldn’t afford a “very expensive” item? By the way, I am a person of color.
Lady, I was asking for the color and not the price! For all you know, you could have made a big sale from me!

This is the cutest little store in Santa Monica. I came in for the first time a few days before Christmas and mentioned how I ordered a Maileg dollhouse and was stressing because the screws arrived stripped. The owner offered to try to fix it for free!! Not only that, when I said I wish I had seen the dollhouse beforehand because it seems a bit big for the space I was going to put it in, she offered to swap it with another dollhouse. She went above and beyond and I just really appreciated her exemplifying the Christmas spirit. Highly recommend this store. Will be telling all my friends about it and only shopping here from now on for all kid gifts. Thank you Heather for being such a lovely human

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, and I love going back even now. They have the cutest wooden, felt, and linen toys and you can easily spend hours just looking at everything. 100/10

I’ve lived here 40 years and this is by far my favorite kids toy store, o could fiend all day here browsing. They have excellent toys for infants to 8/10 years old. Lots lots lots of options!

This store is full of high quality wooden toys (e.g. Grimm’s, Grapat) from around the world. Great selection and friendly staff. I’m glad I found this store. It’s so much fun to shop for toys in person!
