I just wanted to take this opportunity to give major kudos to the Santa Monica Subaru Family. I can’t say enough about the exceptional customer service and care I received at Santa Monica Subaru. From the moment I walked in, Dino’s smile and infectious energy made me feel instantly at ease. I was approaching the end of my lease and had to prepare to return the lease to Santa Monica Volkswagen and was dreading the hassle, especially after a truly horrendous experience there. Plus, now I would have to go to a dealer further away. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by Dino, his smile providing a warm, welcoming environment where I instantly felt valued whether I was buying a car or just inquiring. My anxiety melted away. I knew I was in the right hands.
Dino listened to my situation, which wasn’t an easy one, and he and his team worked tirelessly to make magic happen. I wasn’t even sure what kind of car I wanted, but they were patient and let me test drive a few options—all of which were fantastic. When it came time to discuss numbers, I was introduced to Jeremy. Let me tell you, this team embodies kindness, thoughtfulness, understanding, and compassion in ways that are hard to describe. At no point did I feel pressured or judged. Instead, I felt like they genuinely wanted to help me find a car that I would love and that fit my budget. Jeremy worked his magic and got me an absolutely spectacular deal.
Then, I moved on to the financial department, where Amir was just as incredible. He was above and beyond gracious, patiently explaining every aspect of the lease. He is, along with the rest of the team, miracle workers. Amir ensured that we secured great financing that worked for our family, and for that, I’m extremely grateful.
Evan handled the return of my old Volkswagen, and from start to finish, he assured us that we were in good hands—and we absolutely were. Finally, I had the pleasure of speaking with Sales Manager Arturo, who I made sure to tell just how lucky and blessed he is to have such an outstanding team.

Luis was very courteous and efficient when he prepared my paperwork in the morning. Staff was friendly in the afternoon and they even washed my car when I found hundreds of white plaster spots all over the driver side of my vehicle. I am always pleased with Subaru’s service!

Buying my Subaru at the Santa Monica dealership was a good experience but the post-sale experience has not been nearly as positive.
I had some difficulty with my car check ups (e.g. they cancelled the night before my first scheduled maintenance and told me I don't need to do it due to my mileage, which then led to me missing some of them because I didn't realize there was a time limit, as well as a few other things). There were also a few times where I called with some questions around my account and was those on the phone were very keen to get me off the phone ASAP even though they hadn't answered my questions.
Additionally, although I can't say with 100% certainty, it seems like my cargo cover wasn't returned after one of my maintenance appointments. I've only taken it out of my car a handful of times and almost every time left it in my carport yet they were adamant they didn't have it. It's possible they are right but it seems very unlikely.

I had a very good experience with Kevin at Santa Monica Subaru. He was very nice and knowledgeable. It was also a right on time visit- The car was ready when Kevin said it would be.
