Santa Monica Catholic Church is so beautiful and the Holy Mother's statue out front is absolutely gorgeous and was. Built as a tribute from her children in their Mom's memory. It's so touching. It's May so there were flowers everywhere! It gives one so much hope, faith,and serene piece of mind. Thank you for this blessed place of the Virgin and God's handiwork all around.

I want to say everyone at this church are the nicest human beings! I went to another church in LA and when I got in an accident they treated me very badly. They didn’t help, they didn’t reach out and no community. I went to this Santa Monica Catholic Church one Sunday and fell in love! I want to convert and be apart of this community. This is a real church, real community and a real connection to God. After mass I cried because the people are beautiful, kind, giving and what true Christian should be to one another. If your interested in attending one Sunday I would strongly agree!

Been going to this church for a couple of years as a single man. Found the Mon Senior Furguson completely ignores me when he’s greeting the congregation even though I’ve tried several times to wave or say hello. Also found the staff of the church a little too cold for my taste. I’ve gone to the patio several times after church and no one says hello and when I talk to someone that is working a booth they only have superficial questions. Unfortunately I am able to find another church right now with the same services St. Monica provides, but I’ve been looking.

This is a great church because unlike many other churches, Saint Monica has fellowship functions where Catholics can meet each other and become friends both young adults and older adults. This is a critically important thing for Catholic Christians - FELLOWSHIP.
