I love this pharmacy. They are really good at communication. They always let me know when my prescriptions are ready and they offer to deliver them. Delivery is cheap and I get my prescriptions the same day. Excellent customer service and great compounding pharmacy.

Both times I have visited this pharmacy they have promised that my prescription would be ready at a certain time only to learn once there that it is not. While in line I overhear multiple customers go in to pick up their prescription at the promised time and it not being ready either. Just add 2 hours-a day if you visit this pharmacy.

I had an absolutely dreadful experience dealing with the staff over the phone. His name is Kevin. His attitudes were beyond appalling; rude, dismissive, and utterly unprofessional. It's shocking how they manage to represent any business with such a lack of courtesy and respect. I strongly advise against subjecting yourself to such unpleasantness. Seek customer service elsewhere if you value your sanity.

SMC pharmacy first appeared as an outstanding pharmacy. They communicated promptly via text, they deliver the medication to you free of charge, and the medication was usually ready on the day of or the next day. Everything was great and I loved a great pharmacy!! However, they’ve since changed their restocking frequency to once or twice a week. Because my medication is controlled substance, they wouldn’t try to fill it until it’s 2 days before I run out. But what’s frustrating is that once they try to fill it, it can take up to one whole week for them to restock, making me out of medication for 5 days. That’s 5 days of unmedicated illness, every single month. It happened 3 times before I realized it’s a systemic issue (and the pharmacist just suggested me on the phone that I switch pharmacy because they can’t change how things work there). On top of that they also recently stopped responding to text messages? (I received many calls from them but missed the calls, texted to ask what’s going on and never got a response.) If your medication is not a controlled substance, I still recommend SMC pharmacy for their delivery service and their once responsive and communicative staff?

I swear that these places that have a five star hire family or friends to write a good review. We have been dealing with this pharmacy and they are just not five star at all. we have spoken to them one day and just the next day when we are following up re a refill, they don't have the information, don't remember we spoke to them and then our medication refill is delayed. Or, we place the order, they confirm we are all set and we send a messenger to pick up the medication refill, and they never placed the order after all even though they claim they did. Or, they are rude and harsh. So if you are looking for a professional, polite, accuracy, place that follows thru with refills, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. don't waste your time. Many of us count on medications and that they are refilled when needed. The pharmacy is an important place for us and we don't need the pharmacist to get on the phone and make you feel like you are the idiot. there are great pharmacies out there then there are horrible, terrible and employees that are incompetent.....this is SMC. do i sound frustrated, oh yeah. i have given this place many chances and i am a fool but now i am completely done. Doctor called in prescription on Wednesday. Their text message service sends me 3 texts to pick up the prescription. I go there on the following Monday to pick it up and they haven't even started. My scheduled procedure is on that day Monday (which is why it was called in days before.) I am told that it can be ready in 24 hours, a full day after the procedure!! The person who was handling it was untrained and immediately overwhelmed, couldn't even speak to me, address it or hold eye contact and was unable to address these issues in a professional manner or attempt to find a solution. I asked for the manager who either wasn't there or was pretending not to be there - my guess is the later as I saw her speak to someone in the corner. Thankfully a colleague stepped in and handled it professionally promising that I would get this one hour before my procedure. Meaning I have to go there a second time in rush hour in LA in Santa Monica.This company needs some serious management and employee training and an overhaul of their systems and procedures. It would be so easy to have that text message say - complete the order and pay now so we can get started instead of saying it is ready only to find out they don't even start unless you either physically were there or use their online delivery service which takes way too long.Terrible experience, cannot recommend this pharmacy especially if you have a procedure or are on a timeline. The fault is with the managements100%. As a business consultant I look at this and it is so unnecessary. This must happen on every single order if this is their process. What a waste of time, energy and resources. SMC needs to hire a consultant who will get this handled in a few weeks.

Only refilling a prescription. Requested prescription and asked in comments section to confirm coupon was still valid from last time I ordered. After 10 days and not receiving the prescription I called up to find that they had my request with my comments and decided not to follow up. They asked if I would like to get my Rx refilled, I said yes. They then asked how do I want to receive the Rx, mail 5-7 business days, courier for $5, or pick it up. After they agreed they dropped the ball, they made no concessions. These people are worse than Alto!!

Just talked to Matt and he was extremely fast and helpful with changing my phone number on the Niblerx application. As we were talking, I realized I could have done it easily by logging in but he was very helpful and did it for me. I recommend this pharmacy. They're so helpful and my meds get automatically delivered each month. So convenient!

Needed something for my sinuses. I picked something and was told I needed identification and its obvious I am over 30 a d my name is in the computer system. I returned with identification the same young Asian girl then acts as if she couldn't find what I want to purchase, that was put back where lit was.I had stopped going to this pharmacy that's the closest to me because they don't seem to like African American.

Seriously - This Pharmacy goes beyond the beyond of helping. SMC has been a life saver for me. I suffer from "'Cluster Headaches" - not just Migraines - those are bad headaches - clusters are more like migraines on steroids after a night out with Kanye off his meds (and that's bad... really bad) - I woundn't wish them on my worst enemy) then a you get hit in the head with a bat a dozen or so times then the real pain starts. None the less - most of the drugs - even good Insurance Companies- fight/and refuse to give you the required drugs that'll relieve the pain. However, JP does an amazing job to work with them to get you those drugs where other Pharmacy won't. The rest of the staff and Pharmacist are super nice, helpful and always friendly, & super bright even when they're having a busy day.

Unsure why, but it took me 3 tries to get my order processed. Had to call multiple times (they kept hanging up on me) to get a hold of them just to repeat my payment information. Very frustrating how the workers there are unable to take a simple CC number down and process my prescription. Hoping to see some changes!

Pharmacy wants my doctor to cut my prescription in half because one of their manufacturers is cutting what they can order but claim they’re more about the patient than bigger pharmacies only thing I would suggest you use them for is what you hear on their hold music for your pet who refuses to take their medicine they clearly do not care about their patients because I know they have at least two manufacturers for the medicine in question.
