I can attest that she has grown tremendously because of the warmth, kindness, and encouragement from all her teachers at this preschool. She's attended gymnastics, soccer and swim classes that were offered during regular preschool hours and loved them all. The teachers and staff are so engaged and dedicated - from the awesome art show featuring the crafts and projects the kids have been working on throughout the year, to the annual Christmas show, to the Trunk or Treat Halloween event, and finally the graduation ceremony. “My Son is 3 and has been attending here since December 2022. He absolutely loves the school and has a great bond with each of the teachers, as well as the children. It is a very special community and a lovely space. The property itself is a California Craftsman cottage which is kitted out like a dream play house for little people. The outdoor areas have lots to keep the children engaged. Including a terrapin called Downtown, and a nearly 100 year old Tortoise called Freddie. There are birds in the house, so the children get to learn about caring for animal friends. Each week I am given artwork which my son has created, in keeping with seasonal and holiday happenings. The staff here are kind, nurturing and patient. They are clearly invested in the children. I feel like my family are in very good hands here.”

“I truly cannot express how wonderful this school is and how grateful I am that my son got to go there for a little over a year. We only left because we relocated and we were so very sad to go! :( From the director to every teacher that works there, the warmth and genuine care for your children is felt. I had such peace of mind knowing that my child was loved and well-cared for. He also learned so much during his time there and had so much fun! “Let me start by saying how there are so many good things about this place that can’t be said in just one review. For example the teachers are so caring and they give my child the much needed attention they crave while promoting a safe and open learning environment for all students. They have low student to teacher ratios and their playground and classrooms are very big and full of fun things for kids to do. The best part is they are so adorable, compared to schools around the area and I feel they do more than the other schools.”

“Our toddler absolutely LOVES coming to school 3 mornings a week for the 2s program (Poppies/ Transitional Preschool). The teachers are nurturing and amazing. Our daughter comes home talking about lead teacher Miss Stacy nonstop. The classrooms and outdoor area are top notch and spacious with everything a young child needs to imagine, learn, and play. The outdoor area includes a bubbling stream for littles to play with water, multiple sandboxes, chalkboard, art area and a climbing/play structure. The spacious building includes a parent's lounge on the third floor which is extremely convenient for working parents. All the families we have met are extremely down to earth, fun and wonderful to spend time with which makes the experience even better. The administration is very organized. Helen in admissions has been a dream to work with. When I walk in and out of the building, the director Jen says goodbye to my child by name - she has somehow memorized the names of all the children in the first couple weeks of school! Wow.”

“We have had such a positive experience at Evergreen. My daughter joined class two during her first year, so this class had already had a previous year together. Kaitie (the school director) went above and beyond to ensure that she was comfortable and had many ways to see the school and community beforehand; including - a teacher's home visit, a personal welcome letter from a family of a classmate, a half day of school with half of the class before the full day, an interview with parents to hear about our child... the list goes on and on. And that was only the beginning. The Evergreen teachers are continually engaging in the latest research for child education/development and it shows. We (as parents!) have learned from the teachers how to better solve conflicts, use language that is more effective etc. But, most importantly Evergreen models and teaches children to be kind, aware of others, thoughtful and curious. There have been countless times when I am out with my daughter and she confidently engages in a conversation with an adult - who is always surprised that someone her age feels so comfortable speaking to adults - I always credit Evergreen. Also, the community at Evergreen is incredible - all supportive, kind, down to earth families.”
