Yes, I went to get my car smog and Santa Monica motors did it quick they were very professional and very friendly. The cost was reasonable. I'm definitely bringing my car back here for maintenance and our service.

it is possible to love a place to get your car smog checked!!! ?. Seriously, every single person there is so nice! I was delighted to hear that they do things other than smog check. So I will be returning to them as well my mom for car issues. Also, they do things like transfer of title. I had no idea. Who wants to go to the DMV? If I could give 10 stars I would!

I get work done here for my 2018 Rav4 Hybrid - the people are capable, friendly and trustworthy, and the costs are about half what the local Toyota dealer charges.... they are certified to work on Toyotas, so yeah, I prefer to save hundreds of dollars. all things being equal...
I will still goto the dealer when they have oil changes and tire rotations on special, but if work needs to be done then I goto Santa Monica Motors - at this point I just assume the dealer is ripping me off - and time and time again, whenever I price check them, I found out that yes, indeed they are ripping me off...
So thanks Santa Monica Motors - you are the perfect check-and-balance to the overpriced dealerships.

I've used SMM for years now and they have always been very thorough in their inspections and subsequent work. Their prices are relatively high but the crew is reliable and I'm in good hands.
