I had an absolute wonderful experience at this Ford Dealership, specifically with Art! He was so incredible and helped me every step of the way when I needed to get my tire changed and had no idea how the process worked. If you're looking for someone really reliable, kind and great at their job, I recommend Art at the Santa Monica Ford Dealership! Thank you so much Art!

Don't trust these folks. Went in with my own load from BOA, they still ran all my info then used their loan instead of mine and told me I had to deal with it. When it came to car registration they sent mine a week after it was due so I had to also eat the late fee because of them. It's been weeks still no answer but when I asked my wife to call for a new/used car they call right away.

I was politely trying to make a deal and understand the price they were offering for a Truck before I drove 2 hours. The internet price ended up being misleading and not reflecting the dealer markup. The sales agent then did not want to bargain and rudely asked why I was even talking to them. No respect for the buyer. Take your service elsewhere.

I had some trouble with my car and Art was very helpful explaining to me why everything was glitching. I've been going to this place for years and I've never had a problem with them.

I attempted to buy a car from these scoundrels. They advertise the price of a vehicle on their website, you call them and they have a "market adjustment " of 15% of the vehicles price. Then they want to add another 15% of supposed add-ons to the car. This is not the only dealer trying to scam people though but it will turn away people from the FORD brand, perhaps forever. The FORD corporation and customer protection need to reign in on these usurious price gouging attempts. I will be contacting both to complain. IN THE MEANTIME, STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCOUNDRELS!!!

Incredibly disrespectful sales management team. Specifically, Tommy Meneshian, and another gentleman that was "new" and didn't have a card and wouldn't provide his name. I came into to purchase a Ford Maverick. I was approved by Ford Credit before coming into the dealership. I also had my own loan lined up as a backup. When I arrived, I was shown the vehicle. When they saw I was referred via the X-Plan employee pricing program, they immediately told me that they couldn't do that price on the specific car I wanted. I disagreed and left. I called Ford Corporate, and they told me that any dealership should honor the X-Plan program as long as there is a valid pin, which I have in my email and assigned to the vehicle I came to purchase. The corporate customer service rep asked for the names of the folks I interacted with so he could add them to the documentation. I didn't have them, so I went back in to get their cards. I was treated with a high level of disrespect. When I approach the sales manager and Tommy, I ask for their information, and told them why I needed it. They immediately got defensive, and told me why I was wrong and why ford was wrong about the X-Plan program. After I stated that I was simply gathering information to provide to Ford, they became more aggressive and told me to get out of their dealership. Greed here is rampant. Stay away from Santa Monica Ford. You don't need to pay over MSRP. That's just stupid.

Every time I come here there is one thing or another. I took my car in for some services and Art was awesome! He was quick, efficient, laid out options for service to be done (all of which I was planning for based on my research) and he had me out of there inside of 10 minutes. They also weren't busy on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Got the call when my car was done and went to pick it up. Once again, Art got the paperwork done and I was ready to get my car and head out inside of a couple minutes this time. I walk out to where my car would be brought to and see it sitting on the elevator but nobody there to pull it out. A few minutes go by and a couple of the techs hop in and out and I hear them say there is no key. I waited for 30 minutes for them to get in contact with the guy who walked off with the key to which they just kept saying he will be right back, he just left with the key on accident. Like this is some normal thing for them. I went inside after this amount of time to check and again, "he will be right back". Finally he rolls up 45 minutes later pulls the car out of the elevator and hands me the key. Of course, he was super apologetic, but come on. The last time I took my car there I couldn't get a courtesy car, which was part of my deal when I bought the car because as the woman on the phone for scheduling told me, the owner's wife took the car they had. How is this ok? The service here is fine, of course they charge more being the dealership, which you know going in, but what you don't expect is some of the levels disrespect and incompetence in many ways. There are some wonderful people here, but they seem to be in the minority. Maybe this will finally be the nudge I need to find a local mechanic. I strongly urge anyone to look elsewhere because the time you will waste and annoyances you will have to deal with may not be worth your time. Again, Art was the man. But otherwise, thanks Santa Monica Ford for delivering on the expectation of overall poor service.

Waste of time unless you just want to look at the car you are thinking of buying. I have been to this dealer several times over the years. I have owned Mercurys - that's how far back I go - Fords, etc. I could have purchased 4-5 vehicles here over the years, but instead I went to places like Galpin. Why? You cannot get a straight answer out of a salesperson. And they still operate with a zillion dealer ad-ons, saying that all their cars are sold that way. And the salespeople are often pretty rude. I know, that's cars. But, the very idea that we need dealerships goes back a long, long way, and they have remained protected by governments forever. Hopefully, more manufacturers will buck the archaic system and sell directly to consumers. We don't need dealerships.

If I could leave less stars I would. I did a lease buy out at this dealership on Oct 20. Unfortunately, my next lease payment was scheduled for Oct 22 and it was too late to cancel that payment. I was assured that it would be easy to get a refund for that final payment as it should never have occurred. Santa Monica Ford has been trying to give me a partial refund for weeks. I've called Ford Credit multiple times and they have adamantly assured me that I am owed a refund in the full amount from the dealership. The dealership is telling me they only owe me the partial amount. It is now Nov 14 and there has been no resolution. I have called multiple times nearly every day and am only able to get ahold of them once every 1-2 weeks. They do not respond to voicemails either. It is getting ridiculous at this point. Also, at this point they are fighting me over $92. It has nothing to do with the money, it is the principal. Specifically, it is Tommy i sales, Kevin in finance and Alexis in the business office who have been the slow down. Horrendous.

The website and communications are disorganized and chaotic. Since most communication is done through the website, emails, and text messages, this really needs to improve. Here's my experience: Wanted to get an oil change (Works Synthetic Blend). There are no prices on their website, or on Ford's service portal. Made an appointment online - no price listed. Went to Chat online function - no one answering during business hours. Left a request, never got a response. After confirmation email, next contact (email, text, and call) was from a salesperson, asking me to make an appointment to test drive ... my car (same year/model). I didn't ask to buy a car - I made a service appointment. Next day, still don't know the price. Checked my email, called the phone number in the confirmation - number disconnected. Googled and called the phone number - their $120 price is highest in the LA area. Too much hassle+overpriced? Had to cancel the appointment. Next day, got a call - and it was an automated call, asking me to record my message - like a reverse voicemail. Huh?? It's bad enough Ford has a poor image - this dealer isn't helping. You know how they say it's all about first impressions? This one went bad on every interaction. Can't review the actual service, sadly.
