The service department is the best around. Kind, capable and efficient. I’ve gone to another Ford for repairs and I came crawling back to Santa Monica because they are much better.

Unethical and Illegal bait and switch practice at this dealer. They add on after market accessories which they force you to buy which is illegal to do in California. These are not manufacturer options but dealer added that they say they will not remove which adds over $4k more to the stated Msrp.

Never again-worst dealer service and price gouging I’ve ever seen. I booked my service appointment online, which was easy, however, once I arrived and pulled into the service area, I was not greeted by anyone, then told by my service agent that the appointment was really just to “get into the line”. I went in for a quick ECU update for a Ford safety recall on my 2014 F-150 and a diagnosis of minor air system issue, I was told on a Friday that “the vehicle might be ready by Wednesday or Thursday of next week”. Wow, seriously? The ECU update takes less than 30 minutes and after looking online, the OEM part to fix the air system is a $34 part and about 1 hour of work for a novice. After having to call the service department multiple times to get updates (because my agent never called me to pass updates), I was told the total cost would be $700. Imagine my surprise when I can do the fix for $34 and in 1 hour. $650 for labor is what I was quoted. On top of the terrible service, the attempt to scam me out of $650 is unacceptable. When picking up my truck, I had to pay the $150 “diagnostic fee” even though absolutely nothing was fixed on the truck (except the recall fix that was free) and my truck was significantly dirtier than when I dropped it off, so now I have to get it washed. I think it’s abundantly clear, but if not, I do NOT recommend this dealership location. The beyond terrible experience seemed to be a culture issue at this dealership since I witnessed multiple other customers frustrated by the service area, and the service agents all seemed to have better things to do than actually provide service.

Using an anonymous email, but I went to do a trade-in a few months back and had huge issues with the paperwork being processed to where it turns out the car was not even completely mine and I had not gotten any papers from the DMV or statements from the lien holder. Then went back in an overwhelmed state and started a new purchase where I hardly got back any of my initial investment. That new purchase was a recent but used vehicle, and it started giving me issues within the first two months, but I was so tired of the sloppy service and less-than-ideal deals that I just sold it to CarMax and took on a lease at a different dealer. The salesperson I got was also not very good at letting me get a word in. This is just a warning to be careful here and check everything by yourself or with a third party before making purchases, because it does feel like this dealer completely prioritizes profits--I understand that is what dealers do, but this one does it more than most and I feel that I took a big hit as a customer greatly in part because of their mistakes and for selling me a car with issues I didn't know about. Gave it a few stars for the sake of their rating and because they did have a wide inventory. I hope they improve. (I do not wish to be contacted if this is identifiable).

I didn't want to do a long block and Shawn was able to find a way I could fix my engine without doing an engine swap. He got me a little discount on labor.

Worst dealership. I am from Arizona, and I am visiting California. My ford bronco sport started giving me troubles and I called in at 1:10 pm to get a new battery since it is in warranty. Their service and part department close at 2, and seems like they said they have lots of cars lined up for today. All i needed was a new battery to be plugged in but they literally said that their parts guy left early and their services department won’t be able to help. I have a flight to catch back tomorrow and apparently there is no way they could have helped. Not a good experience.
