I love to shop and I really dig Ruti. The clothing is contemporary quality. The fabrics are incredible. They focus on machine washable! Yes! And their clothes are catered to those who travel so think limited wrinkle fabrics. They have tons of amazing basics, quality knits and also some dresses. I have a gorgeous, black lace casual dress from them and also work slacks. Great, broad range of selections. Try things on though - the hanger appeal is not always there but when you put on the pieces, it's when it starts to work and you see and experts flattery magic. They also design for layers which in SoCal is key. I love their cuts and quality. They also have seasonal colors. I highly recommend this designer. Their sales people are very attentive and helpful. I always am impressed by their attentiveness.

This really is a great store. Janice at the Santa Monica store helped me find a bunch of things I never would have found on my own. Prices were resonable and clothes nice quality. Great store.

I am a terrible shopper. I hate trying to figure out what will look good on me and I hate intimidating stores and saleswomen but I am useless at finding things on my own in a department store. Happily, I happened to spot a beautiful jacket in this store so I went in. An hour later I left with two bags of wonderful things I would never have thought to seek out myself. Thanks to a very friendly and knowledgeable saleswoman, Janice Reiches, I left with a nice new collection. I have already worn most of it and am so grateful to Janice for helping me out. Great stuff. Great store. Really.

A very nice lady in this store helped me put together a great outfit for someone. I like the unusual design of a lot of the pieces, definitely not the usual fashion options to be found all over the place. Well done Ruti!

Do not purchase from this company using their try and return program. I mailed my item back same day received and have been charged three times since the return of that item. This has been ongoing for two weeks resulting in $378.56 posted to my account and a new $189.28 charge pending as of this morning- for an item returned well within the window.

First time that I ventured into Ruti was 2 days ago. Entered around 3pm and left at 7pm - wow!!!! What was great - EVERYTHING!!!! Beginning with Marlena and Lydia - such a connection to good people. By the time I left, I knew the talent of both of these women - each with their own style - welcoming, warm, knowledgeable, stylish, thinking "out of the box" people and passionate about their line, RUTI. Nicely designed clothes that fit all sizes. Classy simple elegant designs similar to Vera Wang. Prices are high. Workers are extremely helpful and pleasant.

I have shopped in the Palo Alto store where Anca helps me as if she's known me all her life. I live in So CA and frequent the Santa Monie and Venice stores as well. All the sales associates are kind, knowledgeable and often right about what I should try on. It's a joy to shop there.. thank you for enhancing my wardrobe. My friend love how I look in RUTI'S clothes.

The styles are interesting and not readily available elsewhere (but there are many online alternatives). Unfortunately, many of the fabrics are either synthetic or of poor quality or both. Also, as stated in multiple reviews of this and its other locations, Ruti's return policies are very heavy handed. Expect no communication if u buy online. I have a store credit that I will write off because the quality of the items and the lack of customer service is not worth dealing with them.

Amazing selection of cool designer everyday wear. Israeli designer, stores in SF, Venice, soon Soho. My wife bought to pieces and I added one for her. Then we got home to Ohio and she ordered another one.

I wish I could give this store 0 stars. I hate to say this but the owner of this company has the most scummy business habits I have ever seen. The clothes are very attractive at times and the idea design ideas behind them are good. However I have already repaired several items I have purchased from them in the last year. I had the worst experience with this company not once but twice. In the first instance I went in to buy some clothes for a trip. I was on the fence about buying some stuff as I thought their Items were overpriced for the cheap construction. The sales woman assured me that ruti did returns. A friend was with me when the sales person said this. I still did not purchase. The saleswoman called me later to ask if I wanted to buy again saying there was a full return policy. I wasn't sure I wanted all the pieces I looked at that day but I thought I could make a better decision at home with the full return policy in place. I went back to return a few items only to find that the full return policy was actually store credit only. I felt so violated by this experience and cheated out of my money. Then the owner emailed me saying she was sorry for what had transpired. Mind you this was A full nine months after the incident in question. She asked me to delete my yelp review and in exchange she would offer me a store credit. Mind you this store credit was about 1/3 of the money they had scammed me out of. Stupidly I conceded and deleted it. But of course being the con artist that she is she did not fulfill her promise. My impressions of this store have truly been consistent and given me a grim portrayal of the owner's despicable characters. I'm appalled.

Love this store! It is so nice inside and the staff is so helpful. I'm not one to put and outfit together so it's so awesome that they help you like that and can put together outfits really quickly. They all have great style and fashion sense. What's also nice is the style is a little different so not a lot of people have the same things I wear which is awesome :) I get so many compliments on my outfits and jewelry. Thank you Ruti for the awesome selection of clothes!
