I wouldn’t give one star to this Pharmacy. The worst. Four employees behind the counter, only one checking people out. people after work in the evening trying to pick their prescriptions. Pharmacy staff ignoring that there is a line. Doing stuff that can be done when there is no line, talking amongst each other, not work related. We can hear the conversation! So sick of this place. No more… My mother switched to CVS on fifth 6 months ago and yes it’s not perfect either, but she said she never has to go through what she did at this pharmacy. And if you need vaccines, don’t waste your time here! Go to CVS on fifth make an appointment there, or call Brentwood pharmacy on 26th and San Vicente.

Save for the homeless folks circling the parking lot and building - a solid drugstore with everything you need. Very helpful staff!

First and foremost, the pharmacy department is managed by a gentleman named Pouya. He is incredibly nice, patient, knowledgable, personable, efficient, engaged, and did I mentioned nice? He sets the tone for the rest of the department. I find that the rest of the pharmacists share the same attributes. Whether they speak to you on the phone, or in person, they are ALWAYS patient and helpful. Pharmacies can be very dramatic places because people are usually there because something is wrong and they need help. I've witnessed at least a dozen situations where customers have been mean and abusive and not once has one of the pharmacists been anything but patient and understanding. I also notice that they take the time to get familiar with their customers and learn to understand their needs. Amazing stuff really. Overall, most people don't love going to pharmacies. I'm certainly one of them as well. But, because Pouya and his team do everything they can to make the experience as good as it can be, I felt like I needed to write a positive review to show support. Thank you Pouya and team!

There was zero apology for a delayed appointment. Then not only did the Pharmacist scream into the open where there were other customers my personal information, but they then also doubled down & tried to trivialize my concern. After that, they continued to laugh and make fun of my concern about exhibiting privacy with another rude customer who was rolling their eyes at the interaction. I’m not sure if the rude people or the lack of professionalism that exists in this neighborhood concern me more.

Pouya and the team at the pharmacy are as kind and generous with their help and education as I have ever seen at a pharmacy! Above that they remember everything as I walk in pretty remarkable and shows they care about The people they deal with every day!

Pouya and his team rock. They bend over backward to get your meds up fast and find the best prices. Always available by phone, too cool.

Pouya and his team are great. They helped me get a medication they didn't even have in stock normally. Great service.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for over six years now and Pouya Fakheri and his team are so awesome! Every time I go in, I’m treated like family. They remember my name and often have my prescriptions ready and waiting before I’ve even gotten to the counter. There isn’t high staff turnover (always a good sign) so I’ve been able to get to know the team, and they even ask about our pets (especially Angela!). If you’re looking for a knowledgeable pharmacist who will be there to answer all of your questions and concerns, you want to go to Pouya!

I have been getting my medicine here as I just moved to the neighborhood nearby. Today I received a disturbing voicemail from Pouya, the male pharmacist... stating he refuses to refill my prescriptions because it is at his discretion. The day before, he told me he would fill my prescription and to come back at 3pm today. When I called back to ask why he would not fill them, he angrily yelled at me that he has other customers to attend to and does not have time to tell me. This is quite disturbing as this medicine helps prevents seizures and my prescription is running out. The dosage in fact was smaller than the month before and as an immunologist and trained molecular biologist, I find it scary that people like him are working in healthcare. Please stay far away from this gentleman. Unless you would like to see him yell at people to get in line get in lineeee and wait your turn! I once saw him scream at an elderly woman. Once I asked him today on the phone if I have the possibility of having a seizure if I do not have this medication, he yelled at me back that he knows wayyyyy more about this medication than I do.. ok.. flex your pharmacy school degree? and that he doesn't have time to talk about such stupid things. Very unprofessional and really sad for Rite Aid as a company.

I went in to order Covid tests two days ago. I was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I had to leave and decided to come back two days later when I had time. My order was given away- they didn't hold them for me and failed to tell me that they would't hold tests???? When I asked to order them now, I was told (very smugly) "That's not how it works here." The clerk told me they were out and wouldn't be re-stocked for days. When I asked another question about why was my order given away, she said "Next." I am just happy that this isn't my usual pharmacy- horrible service, horrible organization. I will never go back there again.

Okay I feel bad about being so harsh - I think they were pretty slammed over the weekend when a lot of the customers who were transferring from the other rite aid started to show up. Went back today and they were very quick so updating my review! Thanks!!

The people working at the pharmacy do not care about your health and well being. They only care about paperwork. Unhelpful and unprofessional. Go someplace else.

Dr. Pouya Fakheri, the pharmacist at the RiteAid store at 1331 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, 90403, administered my 2nd Moderna Booster vaccine on Friday at 7:30 pm. He did it so very slowly & carefully, it did not hurt at all, and it was the best Covid injection - or any injection - I have received! Thanks!
