Amazing shop that has great rental options which are affordable. They sell and rent boards, as well as sell an assortment of products, clothing, and drinks. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The vide is so nice too. Will for sure be back!

I purchased 2 padles today, very lucky,I guess was the owner,came in the last minut( tall, skinny, blond hair, very knowledgeable and king man with a calm voice) and saved as.
Averway, I woud go home with 2 paddles the wrong size cut padles.
The shorter guy,who was there when we came in, had no idea how to measure a paddle, but went and cut wrrong size 2 paddles. Was on the phone the hole time I was there, didn’t give proper information on how the size need to be on a padle.
Shame on him.

How much do I appreciate this surf shop? I cannot count the ways! As a resident of Santa Monica, I am so proud to have this business in my neighborhood.The guys here are incredibly approachable, knowledgeable and helped me pick out the perfect board for my husband’s birthday gift. They went above and beyond in so many ways to make sure that my husband got his board in time for his birthday.Plus, they serve a great latte and fun conversation.Thanks so much, guys!

The staff here is very knowledgeable about the range of standup paddle boards available, and the fit of each for the customers experience level and goals, whether it's flat water touring, racing, or surfing. Super helpful and friendly for all skill levels. I spoke to Joe about the starboard lineup for SUP surfing, and got great advice for my next board, based on where I am after switching to SUP surfing a few years ago. Great prices, and a wide range of gear and classes too. I'm a big fan of Poseidon!

Gotta give props to Christian and the team here. I bought a board from them, and changed my mind and canceled the order. There were a lot of back and forth emails, and they were really patient through the process. Would highly recommend them to others for board purchases! And I look forward to purchasing something from them in the future!

We went to the pier area, and wanted to have a coffee. Imagine our surprise and pleasure to discover Poseidon just down the street. They had the coffee we were after, along with fashionable branded apparel, drinks for the kids, and SPF 15 lip balm on a sunny day. Our helper, who I assume may have been the owner, was friendly and welcoming to our party. We asked about an unfamiliar coffee, and he was able to tell us about it and a similar drink, and how they related to the drinks we recognized. He quickly and efficiently got our coffee orders back to us, and was knowledgeable about all the items that we asked about and purchased. My favorite part was that instead of completing my cappuccino at the machine, he brought it our where I could see him make a design as the coffee and frothed milk came together. He also made sure my wife could go and change from her sweater to a freshly purchased shirt.

Just had a chia tea latte and it’s been one of the best I’ve had so far in LA. Definitely coming back before I leave, only crit is they could use sleeves for the cups.Update, went back for another and they do have sleeves!!! Still a 5 star
