Even though there's been times where I've gone there to make a purchase and their system was down and they couldn't sell anything or other times where the store was not open during hours of operation, I have had excellent customer service Experiences every time. The most recent was yesterday when I visited the store to purchase additional paint and Ryan was so patient and doing a color match for me and then another canned that I needed it which they didn't have in stock for him to locate at another location and tell me that he could actually drop it off first thing tomorrow morning on his way to work as I am two blocks away from the store customer service at its finest! “DUNN-EDWARDS PAINTS in Encino is easy to find and easy to get into. They have their own free parking lot with plenty of available spaces.The people are friendly and helpful, but did not hover. I was able to take my time choosing the right shade of "white". Boring, I know, but I was surprised by how many there are.I was able to narrow down my choices and take home the card samplers to show my contractor, who was then able to get small samples for testing.Very convenient. My project is done and I am very happy with the way the color turned out.Now that it's time for another painting project...”

“I have been buying my paint from this particular Sherwin Williams for over 10 years. I have always received great service . Beginning from Sepideh who was the assistant manager then, she and the staff would provide free Keurig coffee / tea and they had a big table to set up our projects.The staff have always been very patient, kind, polite . Now there is no more refreshments but, the service has not diminished. Recently, I have been assisted by Elizabeth Moreno, she provides the epitome of perfect customer service, whenever I am at the store she greets all customers, able to give you guidance on color matching and LRV of a certain color. Yesterday I came to the store a few minutes before closing and Elizabeth was willing to mix some Paint for me with a very cheerful attitude. She always makes me feel welcome to come in the store. I hope she knows that she is very much appreciated Several times a year Sherwin Williams will have "specials"on their paint and it really makes it a good value as the quality of paint is excellent.”

“I just had the best experience at this store thanks to Edward.I wanted to paint my entire apartment for the first time, but had no idea what was the best store to buy paints. I was trying to choose between Ace Hardware, Home Depot and Lowes, when a friend of mine recommended Dunn Edwards and I'm so glad he did because I couldn't be any happier with the color and sheens I selected. My apartment looks amazing!But none of it would have been possible without the help of Edward, the first person to greet me when I entered the store. Edward was totally kind, friendly, funny and took his time to help me decide on my colors, sheens and quality of paint.I needed to go into the store 3 times so I could pick up various color samples to tape to my cabinets and walls so I could ensure I chose all the right colors before actually buying my paints. And each time I went, Edward was equally kind, friendly and helpful. My entire experience at the store was always fun and relaxing thanks to Edward.And now after two weeks of sanding, prepping and painting, seeing my new bright, shiny kitchen cabinets and all my walls freshly painted, I couldn't be any happier with the quality of paint and the colors and sheens.I totally recommend Dunn Edwards quality paint and this West L.A. store in particular. “My in-store experience at this Sherwin-Willams has been fantastic - we were there 4 times in the last month either looking for colors, getting samples or picking up the paint we decided to go with. Originally, when we purchased our home a few years ago, our contractor had us to go Dunn Edwards for our paint, the service was never great - I prefer to support a business that actually cares about their customer satisfaction and I felt at home when I visited this location of Sherwin-Williams. We had heard good things about the paint from Sherwin-Williams, they have great quality and wonderful colors. We happened to notice they were having a presidents day sale which was fantastic - 40% off, it was a no brainer. But at the end of the day, for someone like me, I care more about how I'm treated in store then the cost of the product itself. We were lucky enough to meet Spencer who obviously knew a lot of paint, not just as a sales person but as someone who painted for a living. His recommendations were highly appreciated and I hope they know how lucky they are to have such a great team running this location. For any future painting needs, it will always be this brand for us. Thank you for helping to make a tough experience (choosing the right color) so much easier on us. Anything to do with home renovation is so stressful, it's nice we found a place that made one checklist item so much easier on us.”

“First of all, to all the people who have left negative reviews about the service here, lighten UP! These guys are like characters from a TV show. They’re gruff, not rude. Be entertained, not offended. Sorry but L.A. people are too thin skinned. The people here are super knowledgable and helpful, just DON’T waste their time. I’m guessing they all come from east coast families. ?This store has everything, including every nut, bolt, or screw you can think of and they’re open stock. You can buy just one at a time - not ten in a package like you have to at Home Depot or Lowe’s. They even have a small parking lot in the back.”
