Very sad, I am a long time OneWest customer and greatly miss the personal care they brought to our Main Street neighborhood. When it was purchased by First Citizens they offered a 50% discount on the first order of checks, since I seldom write checks this seemed reasonable. Well you can only get the discount if you order through the branch not from the website. The website orders through a 3rd party the bank will not give a discount for that, but this was the only choice on their website. Ian, who answered at the Ocean Park branch was less than helpful and his advise was 'do what's best for you'.One West would have gladly given a 50% discount. Oh, and their not open Saturdays. I wish I could quit them.

As 1st Citizens, they've been a bit of a challenge, after claiming there would be no changes when they bought One West and closed Main Street where I've been Banking with Santa Monica bank since the late nineties. First two time's trying to deposit cash, were a drive for nothing. Turns out the bank wasn't ready for ATM Cash until the Monday. But they closed the ones at main street. Then to find out, they're closed Saturdays. I had no Idea, another drive WASTED. at $6.00 a gallon. And don't get me started on the time and trips I wanted to get a cashiers check, in their first week. CIRCUS, is being kind. Several times, the ATM simply didn't like my $50.'s... and just rejected them, another 2 trips wasted after banking hours. Today I want to find out if they have a Notary, I called at three, after several lame prompts I was only able to leave a message and as of yet a half hour later no call back. Did I mention I am hoping to do this before they close. There's always a very slow moving line, and I'm not sure I like the place. This is the 4th purchase of my INSTITUTIONS, this one seems to be the worst so far. just sayin. Totally frustrated and missing Main Street.

One West Bank was bought by First Citizens bank this year..While the branch in Ocean Park is convenient the service has declined..My application for a credit card was declined..and no reason was offered ( 26 year credit history no late/missed pmts 800+ rating!) Last night my debit card was declined --- checking account had more than enough to cover the $20 charge at my local food market..customer service turned it back on..but could not tell me the reason why it happened CD rates are not competitive...Im looking at other banks now...

Once First Federal. Then One West as quality declined. Now First Citizens and I've never seen such client chaos. Long lines with one or 2 windows open. The no deposit slip policy makes everything take longer. An older woman was upset today and demanded a manger because the teller typed her deposit into someone else's account. After watching them try to become the newly managed bank from One West for awhile it appears they have failed miserably. This bank is a disaster.

Horrible customer service. Walked in today and there were two tellers and eight people waiting in line. Over a 30 minute wait to make a simple deposit. This is not the first time, sadly. Frustrating to say the least. If you are wanting a fast and efficient bank FCB is not the one for you. Time to move on.

This bank has gone to hell. Seriously the worst customer service and the services are awful. Locations were closed that had accessible parking and atms, and the ones that opened were placed in out of the way locales with no atms, making doing business difficult. The managers don't want to help you. They sit at their computers, avoiding eye contact. Will be closing my accounts because they don't care about the customer and their needs. I am sure their automated response will say, sorry for the inconvenience, we strive for excellence...blah blah blah...no they don't.

After this bank closed it's Main Street branch we are forced to go here. If you love the DMV where there is room for 30 employees but only 3 are working then you will love this place. There is much room for improvements here. There is space for 20 - 25 employees but only 1 person was staffed. Granted, the place is not that crowded but what a disaster. They use their cubicles to store junk. Poor excuse for a financial institution to portray, but then look at the condition of US and the current policies. Better off hiding your money in the same space these folks have their heads. Thanks anyways.

This bank uses poisonous mouse traps that are cruel and inhumane all around their building. We watched yesterday as a young mouse suffered for hours in the sidewalk 4 feet away from their poison. There are humane ways to ward off rodents this is not one of them. Beg them to STOP using poison which then kills cats and owls. This is an archaic way of rodent prevention. Shame on them.

I would give this bank a higher review if they had better hours. Currently they're only available between 10 and two which seems rather ridiculous for regular banking needs. Otherwise the bank is clean and there's always ample parking the staff is very nice and personable. They also have some nice programs that they are offering.

This bank gives working people no chance in hell to perform their bank errands. To not have at least one day closing later or a few hours opened on a Saturday is beyond all basic common sense!

The reason that I give this location this rating is due to the hours (well before and currently during the virus thing). They hours might say from 9-3 daily but if you get there at 2:30 they are already closed with the staff still there and multiple people wanting to come in and the staff just ignores everyone. It’s still at least 30 minutes before closing so why ignore a number of customers? But other than that usually the staff is wonderful and very welcoming when open and is a 5+ star bank.

The people who work at this bank are saints. They take the time to get to know their customers, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the doors. Everyone has gone above and beyond for me, and I am so appreciative of their excellent service!

This location get the award for the quaintness of the tiny French style office, and in the best looking building in the area. Wish I could come here more but Montana is closer.

I just have to give a shout out to this place! The care they took with me and my 91 year old mother was off the charts! They really looked out for our interests! The best!
