Ali was very helpful in explaining my options, being transparent with the (very low!) prices, and making sure i was happy throughout the coloring process. I am in disbelief at how efficient and affordable this salon is--a true hidden gem! cute retail shop as well :)

I feel so blessed to have found Ali thanks to a friend of mine who referred me! He's the kindest and sweetest man. He's been at this location since 1985 and his prices are incredible! He wants to be able to cater to all people hence the incredible prices. He is so good and very skilled. I love my color. He put in some conditioner which has softened my dry ends. Usually hair stylists want to chop off my hair and trim it but he didn't push me at all! The moisturizer he put in took care of my dry ends. I will be back to do my roots in a few weeks for sure!! Your first visit is 20% off. I am so happy I found him :))

This place is truly a gem. Ali understands different hair types and really takes the time to listen to exactly what you want while offering his professional opinion. You can tell he is passionate about what he does. I have coarse thick wavy/curly hair and walked away with a haircut that looks good styled both natural & straight:). The shop itself is also such a vibe. We need more places like this in the world!

Ali is a true hair artist! Ive consulted with him over the last two years over several growings and cuttings, several fantastic styles. And his price can't be beat. In addition, we always enjoy discussing current events and listening to classical music!

The best gem in Santa Monica! I love going here for my trims and color. He has been doing hair for years and really has an artists touch, not to mention he is so kind. I just had a trim, low lights, and toner and it was $120. You seriously cannot find a better price in LA! I refer all my friends to him and am writing this review to let everyone know he is the best!!

The WIRST HAIRCUT EVER IN MY LIFE!!!!One side of the neckline is longer ( by 1/2 inch from the otherI have very thin, fine hair and this guy used thinning shears on the back of my head!!!!!!I look like a skinners rabbit!!!!DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON WITH YOUR HAIR!????

Good. Really nice guy. Takes his time.He gives a discount for first time clients. And he has a boutique in his salon which makes your visit fun after you get your hair done. Can be a bit pricey on some items

I decided to go to Ali for a haircut after reading his amazing reviews, and I'm so happy to confirm that they hold true!! I put my fate in his hands, as I booked an appointment without knowing exactly what style I wanted. All I knew was I wanted to go short, and Ali's expertise did it so adorably. My long, even-length, middle-parted, wavy/curly hair that I had always worn in a bun finally deserved to be worn out, and Ali was able to customize just the right look for me, specific to my hair type and styling habits (or lack thereof since I'm more of a wash-and-go kind of girl). Ali's prices were beyond reasonable, even offering a 20% first-time client discount. I will definitely be coming back to Moradi for haircuts, and I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is in search of an artist!

Two weeks ago I needed a quick haircut, and I stumbled upon Ali's shop. His client was running very late so he agreed to work on my hair. He is very experienced and has a good understanding of proportions and hair style you need. I have very dry and thin hair , he recommended to go shorter with some layers. Let me tell you , he gave me a makeover that I desperately needed. Also made me look younger. Plus , prices are the best in Santa Monica!

Amazing salon in the heart of Santa Monica. I got a recommendation on NextDoor to check the place out. I called and was able to do a walk-in women's haircut appointment on a Saturday afternoon. I am super happy with the haircut! Also the salon has a cute shop and I ended up buying a fun jacket. Really really recommend this place for a local, comfortable, and affordable salon experience.

Amazing find! I'm so picky but I finally found a great colorist that gave me the exact color I wanted. No waiting time, he is so wonderful with great price. What a treasure!
