I lost weight and recently brought in 8 dresses and several blouses to Montalvo. Nader was precise, quick and reassuring. Mr. Astanboos is also very impressive with his courtly European manners and evident knowledge of fabric, style and trends. The work was done on time and cost far less than had I replaced everything in my new size. I'm so jazzed about my "new" wardrobe. Thanks, Montalvo!

Trusted my jumpsuit which was big for me and they did a really good job. It fits better then I expected. I feel so satisfied with their job. Definitely running to this place next time I need help with my clothes.

If you have a special garment that needs alterations, you can put your trust in these guys. Time and again I have come to them with crazy tailoring challenges every time they exceed my expectations. They are experts. Worth every penny.

I was told to pick up my items at 10AM Monday morning. I have now been waiting over an hour outside the shop after being told they are "running late". I work full time and don't have time to just sit, pay for parking on Montana and wait. Truly a frustrating experience and will not be back. It's a shame that poor customer service overshadows craftsmanship but consideration of your customers makes all the difference in my eyes.

So happy to support a small, local family business. Service was great. I brought in some articles of clothing for mending. I was especially impressed by the repairs on a cardigan with a hole in it, a cashmere sweater with loose threads, and a lace shirt with lose threads. The repairs are literally invisible! My only regret is that I didn't take before and after photos! The bill for 5 items was $100-- very reasonable! If I ever need repairs or tailoring in the future, I would definitely come back here.

Esmail and his family are true old world craftsmen. Decades of experience, incredible attention to detail and dedicated to giving you the best experience possible. They have a selection of fine fabrics for every taste and they suit they made me was beautiful. I'm short with odd proportions but it fit me perfectly. Best I ever looked.
