I spoke with Mina and she was very truthful and honest with explaining my client's situation. They were looking for advice on tax solutions regarding property investments and their business, and Mina took the time to explain the pros and cons on setting up LLC VS S-Corp. While looking for a new accountant to do my income tax, I took a positive referral from Nextdoor.com and called Mina from Madison Tax Solutions. Like many, I had lost my income due to Covid and the CPA's I had previously called were expensive for a very simple personal return. I am putting a little business together, but it is not yet up and I had almost no income this year. Mina gave me a very fair quote for her services, but after a little more discussion told me I may not have to file a return this year. She said she would check and get back to me. She called back shortly and said there was no need to file this year. I am so grateful that Mina cared enough to be honest, rather than take money I didn't need to spend. And, nice enough to go the extra mile to make sure. She also answered another tax question and told me to call if I had other questions. She made my day and next year when I have an income again, I will definitely give her a call. Thanks Mina!

My taxes are complicated and after several disapointments with other tax firms. I have settled on Madison these past several years. Last year they really helped me out of a tax jam. As the lyrics go, "don't do as I have done." I followed Mina Kuper's advice. Over three years later, I lost half the equity in my house to the IRS and FTB. There are excuses for why my Offers-In-Compromise never got reviewed: confusion over employee versus self-employed status, two government shutdowns, and the pandemic. Ultimately, I had relied on her assessment of my chances for approval, and that led to a horrible outcome. Yes, if I could have waited them out another 5-6 years, the outcome might have been different. But I couldn't. So, my advice is, find another path.

I found Mina on Yelp and I’m beyond grateful I did. She handled our OIC and it was smooth sailing. We just finished our last payment. Things that stand out about Mina. Her communication is too notch, she got the IRS to agree to our offer first time and lastly she really cares about her clients. Beyond grateful.
