Been to this salon before multiple times. They always seem busy, which I suppose is a good thing, yet the vibe is still pretty relaxing. I also love the nice, easygoing vibe of this section of Santa Monica. Got a cut from Coco for the first time. I was offered a beverage as per usual before getting started. She did a fantastic job, obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. She's very good at listening to your needs and concerns and is meticulous with her work.

Sara Shields is fantastic! I get my hair cut by her and she always does such an amazing job. She’s very professional and kind and her attention to detail is great, you can tell she really cares and has passion for her craft.

Been going to Luxe for a men's cut off and on for years; a salon that knows how to train and retain quality stylists. My usual stylist was on holiday so I was lucky to get Coco on short notice. Coco is fantastic! She's meticulous, precise and listens to what you're asking for. Don't be intimated by the Montana address; the vibe is beachy cool and laid back.

You have got to be kidding me. I am not going to explain who and what right here and now. But I paid a heap of cash for a cut and the stylist didn't follow my requests. During the cut , said "I thought you wanted it that way" when I asked for a change in the appearance and "well it looks like the picture". Are you kidding me w that ? I'm going to assume a lack of knowledge instead of malice but come on. I correctly called and asked to speak to a manager about how to fix the situation and nobody put me through. They said I could come and see the same stylist and ignored my request to have a more senior stylist give guidance to the one I had- literally this would take 2 minutes. Simply ignored me. I really wanted to like this place because I live nearby. Would have been a customer til it went out of business. Supercuts quality for $250 plus this unhelpful attitude and waste of my time ain't it though. If management has a suggestion as for how I could better handle this...?? 2 stars because the place is clean.

Liz Calo is hands down the best stylist I've ever had. She really listens to what you want and always delivers on it. I've been with her since 2020 and she's managed to keep my hair long and healthy even with a fashion color! Liz is so talented and knowledgeable, there's no one else I trust with my hair. It's why I still drive 90 miles to have her cut and color my hair despite moving away from LA! She's truly the best of the best.

I called for an appointment and I was told I was not welcomed at the salon I asked to speak with the owner and the receptionist said no she's not here. I said please have her call me. The receptionist was defiant no she said?? I would like to discuss what the issue is. The last cosmetology I saw their left suddenly last week. I truly would like to know what is going on and why would the owner not respond? What's wrong with Luxe nasty front desk people WHY? Dear owners are u in business??

I have been seeing Liz Calo for keratin treatments and haircuts for the last 7 years! She is the absolute best and has brought my hair back to life. When I met her, I had fried my hair from balayages. With careful care, Liz has restored the health of my hair. Love being in her chair and catching up with her while getting my hair done. She is kind, funny, and always makes me feel relaxed. Thank you, Liz!

I'm very lucky to have found Sara at Luxelab! Not only is she an incredibly talented stylist, she is also the sweetest person ever. She is dedicated to her craft and takes the time to understand exactly what you are looking for. I have gotten highlights from Sara twice, and each time, the results have exceeded my expectations!

Like any salon, you have to find someone who gets what you want and knows how to execute. Melody is such an artist, highly recommended for a men's cut.

I have been going to Loni Burkow for the past year for my blonde balayage. I love that she is BRAVE to make me blonder and give it a shot with my hair. Needless to say, she did a freakin amazing job since I first went to her and have been going back to her every since. Not only is Loni an amazing artist and hair color practitioner, she does it in way less time than most people with the utmost confidence. I've never been disappointed in my hair coming to her, at all. She's so good at what she does. If you need a stylist/colorist that is BRAVE to go forward with you being blonde(my hair is naturally black), then you have to go to Loni Burkow for you hair because she WILL grant your wishes. She's a genie in the lamp. You don't need three wishes. Your first one will suffice!

Loni Burkow is a master colorist and stylist, and she has no peer. For the past ten years, I have trusted her to give me the richest color, the most flattering cut, and on top of that, a great soul and trusted friend. She is truly a master of the art of color and cut. She also gives my son the most on trend yet classic cuts since he is 11 years old. He is now 17. Go in for a consult and let her crown your head in all its glory.

I'm fairly certain that I'm the last human on the planet that anyone should take hair-grooming advice from. I'd be hard pressed to tell you the last time I used a brush (I'm the king of finger combing) and I think my record between hair cuts is around ten months. But Ione thing I do know is that for over 15 years, Jason Lara has tended to my hair, transforming my often hopelessly-shaggy mop into an stylishly-coifed mane that never fails to get a handful of compliments in the days after my cut. Jason is the absolute Leonard da Vinci of stylists! And also a truly kind soul. I can't even begin to imagine anyone else (except maybe my lovely wife a year into the pandemic) ever cutting my hair! Jason is the BEST!!!

I saw Coco at Luxelab in October for highlights and she did such an amazing job. She's so sweet and really took the time to get to know me, understand what I was looking for in my color and explain what she was doing along the way. I felt so comfortable and taken care of in her chair and left the salon feeling so happy with the end result. The highlights she gave me were so soft and natural, and I love them just as much now (6 months later !) as the day I got them done. I can't recommend Coco enough!
