I can't say enough nice things about James. He's is honest, smart, transparent, and a top-notch automotive specialist. He took care of an exceptionally intricate procedure on my transmission, diagnosed the problem, and made the repair (which involved completely opening up the case) and the car drives more beautifully than ever. I am so grateful to James for doing this sophisticated work at a very fair price (he ultimately saved me about $3,000 as I was looking at purchasing and installing a used trans). Instead, I got to keep my numbers matching trans in my favorite car. Any Porsche owner would be lucky to have him work on their cars.

Highly recommended by a friend who does her "research" and is married to a retired mechanic. I sent my 76 years old mother, and her 22 year old BMW to German Motors since her mechanic for decades retired. She was very pleased, and now has a new mechanic she can trust.

Went in to get my AC fixed. James fixed it. Then, just one week later it broke again - James was at first unresponsive when I asked him if I'd be charged again, and then finally told me there was a chance he'd charge me again. I paid 300 dollars for the AC. I used to recommend this place to all of my friends, but now I can't say the same. Very disappointed.Service: Air conditioning

As long as it's a Porsche he will fix it. But if you pay him for something like a Honda Civic he doesn't do the work. It's beneath him to work on a Honda Civic. Great way to ruin a 20 year relationship. Now I'd like my 1100 back that I paid you for work you never did to my Civic.
