Love this location!!! Sam helps me a lot when I am in there. She is always so helpful and truly cares to go the extra mile. I have a few locations that may be closer to where I live but Main St. Free People is my place!!

The Brand: On the way to lunch with a friend today I, walked right by the Free People store on Main Street in Santa Monica & knew I would stop by on the way back. In fact, I wanted to see if they had a dress I had recently purchased in a different color. I absolutely love Free People and have so many of their cute fitted/bodycon, cutout & floaty dresses. I love the beach/bohemian/glamorous style! Customer Service: Unfortunately, the girls at the register continued chatting to each other & did not even say hello as I continued to walk and look throughout the store. I even stood by the dresses looking at both colors that I was interested in, including their beautiful Summer Sparks black fringe handbag for quite some time, which was near the register. One sweet girl finally came up to me as I was leaving the store and asked if I needed help. I politely smiled & said no thank you and I left the store. Other Locations: I'll continue shopping at Free People at other locations, including by 3rd Street Promenade at Santa Monica Place! The girls there are wildly friendly and so much fun! I love great customer service, it truly makes a difference!

This Free People is lovely. I wish more of the staff wore their optional masks still since covid is surging, but I've never had a problem here. The women that frequent this store and live in the neighborhood who act like this is the kind of boutique where they can be waited on hand and foot are the actual problem. I have lived nearby for over a decade and I'm here often enough that I see the staff mistreated by other locals more often than not. The girls here are attentive, helpful, and they remember my name. Ignore the petty reviews. It's a good location with a great sell selection considering it's size.

This store is literally the most warm and welcoming FP I have ever been to. Alice, the GM, cultivates such a welcoming and educational environment. She consistently goes above and beyond for her guests, including myself. I live in the area and usually just buy online, however I actually enjoy walking into this store and hearing about the newest drops of clothing. I came in today and Alice, Sam, Lily and Ciara were just amazing. I really like coming here, these girls are amazing. There Is nothing like shopping somewhere that wants you to be there and where they are genuinely excited to help you cultivate your wardrobe. They make me love FP even more. I just read the comments and cannot agree with the lack of customer service. The first time I decided to walk into this store I picked up a slew of items and was asked if I need a dressing room like most FP and Anthro store. Everything was very standard except that these girls are actually so genuinely so helpful and go out of their way to really be there for your needs. Keep it up! Alice does such a great job, so warm and welcoming.

I had the worst free people experience at this store today. 1) I was the only person in the store and no one greeted when I walked in, 2) the girls were talking about how anti-covid policies they are while I was shopping (a turn off), and 3) the girl at the register asked IF I WAS EXPECTING when I checked out. Mind you I'm not pregnant and a size 8, so yes I have some curves but how rude and inappropriate to ASK OUT OF THE BLUE. Will not be coming to the store unless it's to return things from other stores thanks to this experience.

This location is horrible. I was the only one in the store and they never acknowledged me. Instead the two girls stood together gossiping while I was carrying around clothes. I helped myself to the dressing room and decided even if I liked anything, I'd just buy it online rather than give these girls any credit. When I left, they still didn't say anything. I was legitimately ignored during the whole shopping experience. Go to Reformation next door or go to the Free People at Century City! The girls there are much lovelier.

THIS IS FOR AN ONLINE ORDER NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION. So I ordered a specific product with a specific color and they chose so send me another color, I called them to see what could be done , they just said they would email me a return label um HELLO THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT IT WAS YOURS !!! I was supposed to wear this product to an event and will not be able to ship out and then reorder on time to use it , the least you can do is send me the right color, I SHOULD NOT have to waste MY time and resources to ship out the wrong product that YOU SENT me so refund me or send the right product ! It's not my fault you sent the wrong one and plus their customer service sucks I spend so much money on their app yea I had the app ! And they can't even do this for me after it's their fault You've been warned . So unhappy I love their clothes however it's become a thing of ethics now

These girls were absolutely rude and had no intention to help me while they gossiped behind their counter. I will never shop in that store again. I don’t know how these twits can possibly be hired to represent this awesome line!

Nicest employees at this location. Excellent customer service. Impeccably clean. All adhere to safety protocols & deserve raises for having to work through this while maintaining such a positive outlook.

I literally came to the door at 7:01. I had some dresses to return. The door was locked and they said they closed their registers already. I hope when this woman is late somewhere by one minute and it really matters to her, she is shown the same curtesy.

I I absolutely love this clothing brand! But unfortunately the customer service at this location is horrendous!... I visited this location on October 10 2019 to purchase some new fall items. I had asked a sales associate for a product that I had seen online, The sales associate was Irritated that she had to assist a customer ...I then asked for a dressing room, she said yeah they're over there. Free people is lucky that they have such cute product because even with the poor customer service I still purchase items, if you got talented people to represent your company this location could be even more profitable than it is currently right now!.. I'll be shopping online for now and avoid the attitude of disgruntled employees.
