I had an amazing facial from Brigitte. She was personable, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions about my skin condition. She gave me the best face massage I've ever had. The facility was nice, and I'm glad I was able to use the amenities. I will definitely be back monthly for my facials from Brigitte. I've been searching for an esthetician ever since the pandemic, and I think I have found my new go-to spot and esthetician!

Our facials were excellent. The only complaint I have is that we were not told that we had access to the steam room and sauna and so we did not make time for that before our treatment

The women's locker room was very small, stuffy, and had hardly any amenities. For the price of the service, it should be cleaner, it should be modern, it should be comfortable, it should have amenities. I felt like I was in a sweaty locker room. There was nothing luxurious about this spa - nothing at all. The waiting area had 4 chairs - 2 side by side and the other 2 directly in front - making you sit facing 2 strangers no more than 4 feet in front of you - male and female (this is not an exaggeration). I chose to stand and wait. A spa is supposed to be relaxing and it was extremely uncomfortable. There also was no fruit, nuts, tea, music in the "relaxation room". The only (and I mean only positive) was that the massage was decent. But for the price you can get more somewhere else. The fairmont Santa Monica is a beautifully designed high-end hotel, the exhale spa does not fit into this hotel category - not even close.

Exhale Spa provided every luxurious amenity necessary for a relaxing facial. Be sure to ask for Hillary-she’s incredibly nice and gentle!

A special shoutout to Sydney at the front desk, who provided exceptional assistance during the booking process. Arriving at Exhale Spa located inside the Fairmont Santa Monica hotel, with the intention of enjoying a girls' relaxing day and celebrating our good friend's birthday, we were eager for a rejuvenating experience. While my deep tissue massage with Paul was truly phenomenal (strongly recommend Paul), I must express my disappointment with the women's locker room. The women's locker room lacked sufficient seating and preparation space. It is rather small and only has a sauna and steam room. Waiting for the water temperature in the showers to become warm also added a less-than-pleasant aspect to the experience. The absence of proper ventilation also made the room uncomfortably warm, especially when multiple individuals were getting ready. Furthermore, the quiet room's setup, with only four chairs surrounding all the rooms for services, sadly did not meet my higher expectations for a spa associated with the prestigious Fairmont brand.

After seeing an article on Brigitte in Vogue, I knew I had to book my wife a facial with her for her birthday. Not only did she say it was the best experience she's had having a facial, but her skin looked better than ever, and the spa and staff are really lovely too. The membership is the best kept secret in the city, the gym is never busy and you get a nice ocean view.

So Grateful for this Thanksgiving; I was treated to the best massage of my life with the talented Paul Metra. Paul was professional, friendly, and highly skilled--no one like him with his knowledge and ability. I highly recommend him, and I cannot wait to come back. Additionally, the front desk staff at the Spa, MJ, and Sydney, were so helpful and friendly that they made the whole experience more enjoyable. Congratulations to Exhale Spa on having such exceptional people.

I’ve always had beautifully fully updated spa experiences so I was completely taken back at the spa at your Santa Monica Fairmont. Its equivalent to a YMCA Locker room. NOTHING nice or luxurious and it’s kind of nasty. I bathroom…showers were gross and rusty. I almost walked out but I had an incredible massage. You have prob the two best masseuses I’ve ever had and they’re working in an outdated gross cramped facility. They deserve better and so do your guests. I would have given no stars but your masseuses deserve major recognition.

Used to love this place. About a year ago new management came and took away our perks. No discounted room and no pool access. I think it's pretty poor taste since they never communicated with us and they continue to raise prices. To make matters worse the gym is old and run down. Go elsewhere, it will be cheaper.
