Lots of good stuff and deals for the holidays. Highly recommend giving them a visit, when you are in the area.

The customer service at this place is some of the worst I've ever experienced. Went in over an HOUR before close. Picked out a couple things and went to try on and they said the fitting rooms were closed and they were closing early.??? Asked if we could try on the jacket and shirt in front of the mirror and was told no and to leave. Extremely unfriendly, rude staff who close the store early because apparently they want too.

Return policy online says you can return cotton on items to any cotton item store. However this store claims they cannot accept a return because its an item they do not sell. Buyer beware

Literally 3 women working in this shop and I was standing next to two of them looking for a price tag on an item, took the item off the rack laid it on other clothes still looking for a price and these women could not be bothered to ask if I needed help. No hello when you walk in the store. Much too busy complaining about work schedule. Yes, maybe I could have interrupted their conversation to ask for assistance but as a manager for a business working in customer service I shouldn’t have too. Needless to say o went to urban outfitters and bought something similar to what I was looking at here.

Usually friendly staff and good inventory. But they always close the store and lock the doors 20 minutes before the actual listed closing time!

Check your receipt to make sure that the price tags match what you've been charged! I've had issues twice where the tag on the item doesn't match what the register charged me. Really sketchy for a store to do this. Sale signs are complicated sometimes, but there is no excuse for an incorrect price tag.

Staff closes store at their discretion. You have to call ahead to make sure they are open. Saturday at 6pm is an hour earlier then listed online or on maps.

Was literally shouted at by a Cotton On employee -Ricky. I am absolutely shocked. I was returning some items and was enquiring how to find out how to find my invoice number. Off the bat he was absolutely awful- the kind of attitude you see on Jerry Springer. I thought he was joking the way he spoke to me. I tried disarming the situation by making a friendly joke- to be shouted at to “Leave the store! Get out of the store” After being quite shaken and after returning my order, I decided to go over to him and smooth things out and he ignored me and walked away from me. Then when I addressed him again- he carried on treating me like I was a piece of s*#t. I’m not sure how customer service at cotton on works- but I have never in my entire life been treated with such contempt and disrespect as I’ve been treated with today by Ricky in Cotton On. I am still in shock. For another human being to look you in the eye and treat you like that is disgusting.

Just saw a Cotton On employee shout at a customer. Twice. Slowly stepping away from my clothes and getting out of here ASAP. This is some bad energy.

You must need an IQ of below 80 to work at this location. The customer service was the absolute worst. I understand everybody has off days, but the likelihood that 5/5 employees are having one is astronomical. We waited in line for about 20 minutes for a dressing room before asking one of the employees if he could open a few more, as there were a lot of people waiting and only two open. He flat out said no. The line to check out was equally long, as they had one person working the cash register (working is a loose term). The other employees were milling about and talking. Love cotton on, but damn.

Manager here needs to get fired. Wanted to try on a size that was only on the manikin. He told me unless I'm buying he cannot take the shirt off the manikin, I told him I wasn't sure and need to try it. He refused to provide customer service, proceeded to tell the other employee "I'm dealing with attitude today".

This cotton on used to be my favorite place ever. But today was such a bad experienced. The people who work here aren't as excited to welcome people or even help them. I never usually do this but when I walk into stores like pacsun, the people are always happy to help me. This one particular person, African American guy with a black hat and grey sweats was just rude. Like if you don't want to work in customer service, don't work at a clothing store. Managers teach your employees how to be nice first of all and how to be attentive when someone needs help and the only sweat person from today shift was African young lady. Other than that worst experienced. And this Santa Monica we're most people come and shop.

I have always shopped Cotton On online, and was excited to find a store nearby to make a return and browse for more jeans. This is my third or fourth time at this location, so this review is focused on the customer service. WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER. I tried on a pair of jeans this morning. They fit great on my body, but I am also 6'1 and would have loved an extra inch or two. I walked up to an employee at the register and asked where I could find a pair of TALL jeans. *blank stare* You know? Regular, Short, Tall?! *oh yeah, everything is all kinda mixed in* Ok?! Is it not part of the employees job to help someone locate said jeans?! I would have thought so. Apparently not, I was told to look for them myself amongst all of the jeans in store as if I'm familiar with what cut and size each jeans are at?! Annoying.

Came the day before to buy an outfit for my friends bday. She tried it on and it wasn’t her style so I came back the next day to return it. Granted I’d lost the receipt after a hectic day, but I have $102 shown on my bank statement and talked to the same employee who had cashed me out the day before. They would not take it back. As I didn’t need it and ny friend expressed she didn’t want clothes, even a gift card would not help. So, I left the clothes there and am now standing out front feeling pretty upset. I understand policies and all but it seems pretty crazy that even with all I did provide above, they wouldn’t honor my need for the money back to get my friend a different gift. These are rough times and money doesn’t grow on trees. Please think on considering some human approach to your return policy that can include the clothes all returned in perfect condition in less than 24hrs, a clear as day bank statement showing the purchase from the prior night, and the same employee perhaps acknowledging that remedying the ask to my request was entirely possible. Thanks.UPDATE: ALMOST A MONTH LATER AND ZERO REPLY, LET ALONE RESOLUTION, FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE.
