Copro Gallery is the best art gallery in Los Angeles. Tucked away towards the side of Bergamot Station, the gallery offers a wonderful collection of some of the best artists working today. The gallery was co-founded by Greg Escalante, one of the founders of Juxtapoz Magazine and is masterfully managed by Gary and Erica. The openings at Copro Gallery are legendary!

Beautiful space with incredible representation of exceptional work of local and international artists. Felt welcome the moment we walked through the gallery door and will definitely be returning for the next opening.

CoPro Gallery is the worst fine art and mixed media gallery in L.A. County! The gallery is straight up creepy, weird, tactless and desperate. I have actually seen the same piece of art at one gallery and then here e.g. Victor Castillo at KP Projects. The gallery is nestled in what looks like trailer or two in the Bergamot Station, which is pretty much on it's last leg in the first place and is in constant threat of being bulldozed and redeveloped. You can pretty much see the same artists at Corey Helford, KP Projects, formerly Merry Karnowski Gallery, Thinkspace and Subliminal Projects. Gallery is only open on Saturdays. I have found that the owners and some of their artists can not even handle the lightest of criticism. This is a gallery that I would not bring children to due to the fact that this gallery has or still haves, a painting hung behind the desk by John Wayne Gacy who was a serial killer and sex offender who raped, tortured, and murdered at least 33 young men and boys. Art, huh?

I went to the CoproNason gallery, on Saturday, May 21, 2022. The old stoner dude from the Jerry Garcia era, never acknowledged me, introduced himself, or even said "Hello". I had to engage him in conversation by asking him about a few of the artworks for sale. The whole time, he never looked up at me, and continued typing on his computer. I was interested in seeing a certain piece called "The Devil's Cabbage". He and his side chick/girlfriend, were apprehensive, or too lazy to show it to me, since it was somewhere in the back shed, and they only would show it to me, if I was interested in purchasing it. The old dude, and his side chick/girlfriend never introduced themselves to me, they never asked me my name, they never shook my hand or offered me their business card. Their PR (Public Relation) skills are very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Their gallery is small, dark and dingy, and quite frankly, sucks. If you want to buy art, skip the white trash, CoproNason gallery, and go to the Corey Helford Gallery, where the staff is much more personable, friendly, and welcoming.

Get your weird on at Copro. The art ranges from cute to creepy, itty bitty to giant sword light fixture. It’s perfect for anyone who’s taste runs macabre or spooky or “interesting”.

Amazing gallery featuring some of the best dark artists and macabre themed art shows around. I'm always checking their IG for new talent and planning future visits. A must see in Santa Monica!

Fabulous little gallery with surrealist, "lowbrow" art by established as well as emerging artists. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We bought a KariKatura painting from a charity exhibition. Highly recommended!
