i'm a viewer of tv series "fresh off the boat, a story of the americanization of a taiwanese family who immigrates to florida. their family grandmother matriarch is proud of her chinese culture, and wears asian american chinese tops. i'd admired the look, and searched the source as citron in santa monica. in 2019, i ordered 5 tops to wear on special asian events. the shipment was prompt. two of the tops had a chinese motifs. the other 3, was more japanese. the tops are made of quality materials which are wash & wear. i would order more when i downsize my closet space. thanks citron...

My recent visit to Citron left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the staff's attitude only exacerbated the situation. Unfortunately, the service was subpar, and the demeanor of the employees was downright rude. Instead of feeling valued as a customer, I felt like an inconvenience. The lack of hospitality overshadowed any potential enjoyment I could have had browsing their products. Overall, I cannot recommend Citron based on my experience, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I stumbled across Citron during their Sidewalk sale and what a beautiful selection! I specifically wanted a kimono style silk jacket and they has sizes from XM - XXXL. It was hard to choose which one to buy!I bought a beautiful one and my friend bought 2. She also bought 3 two layered silk sleeveless tops. I think we spent over an hour just browsing and deciding what to buy.Both Kyoko and Eri, who worked on this day were so kind, sweet, patient and helpful! I will stop in again, just to say Hello to them!Most items are silk and some are not, but everything has a beautiful combination of Japanese silks with tie dye and batik overlays. Each piece of clothing is unique.Thank you Citron for making clothes feel luxurious and unique!Street metered parking. Read the parking signs carefully.

Note the positive reviews here on Yelp were all from several years ago. I was positive then, too. Really sad to see the third (or so) iteration of this company doing what comes off as cheap fly-by-night. I've been buying Citron for more than a decade. The company slipped when it got away from its original Asian design origins and 100% silk, but recovered then, and looked like it recovered again recently, so I decided to try it once more. I bought a $250 jacket online from them in late December 2021 that didn't fit, sought a return and refund, and was first told it was discontinued so they couldn't take it back. I then sent the link for the still very active online listing for the jacket. Then the story changed and became it was on sale when I bought it, so they can't take it back. Nothing on the website then (or now) noted it was on sale until a surprise "discount" at check-out, and nothing then about no returns. As has too-often been the case since Citron started getting away from their all-silk line, the fabric of this $250 shirt headlined as a "silk blend" feels cheesy, and at 82% rayon, it's a whole lot more "blend" than silk. And now their previously excellent customer service appears gone as well. Everything ends sometime, but I'm sure sad to see them go. The end of an era; I don't see this iteration making it.

Great clothes and friendly staff, *when* they are there. I made a special trip to the store, arriving when they're supposedly open for business. Nobody was there. Store locked up. No one answers phone. Disappointing.

I used to love Citron Clothing. I have many of their blouses. But lately, I have ordered things that are not well finished--buttonholes that unravel, threads still left on clothing, sizing very variable, arms longer than they should be. I could go on. Then, in trying to return blouses that did not match the sizing chart, they hold onto my money instead of returning it to my credit card. I don't expect this from a fairly high priced company. After I use up the money they're holding, I won't buy from Citron again

I am so highly disappointed in my order, the sizing is inaccurate, the fabrics feel wrong, and the total lack of customer service. I ordered six shirts all the same size as 2 Citron shirts I already have. Only two fit. Also, the fabric claims to be silk and rayon like my other shirts, but it does not feel nice at all. I wish I had a way to test it. I wrote and requested returns for 4 of the shirts 3 times. Twice by email and once by web form. It's been over a week and no answer. That's a lot of money. Don't risk shopping with this company.

Checked on line for hrs on Thursday and drove from San Fernando Valley to the Citron store in Santa Monica (40 min!). 2:45 pm, Citron door locked and there was no answer. Called their number, only a message. Waited around on Montana another 20 min., came back at 3:08 pm, store locked and no sign of life inside. This time, it took an hr to drive back to the Valley. No note on the door, no answer to the phone. Really, you care that much?

Pam was wonderful she helped me find two holiday outfits. I love the clothes in this store! They are beyond beautiful and very colorful. I bought a vintage kimono and it is smoking hot. Definitely will go back now that I found the store!
