They have added the dreaded tip screen for their repairs. FYI. The first (not cheap ) repair failed in a month, and I went back. They said I need and the more expensive part replacement. I understand, but then the tip screen? Hoping this time it is truly fixed.

Jesus at the Bicycle Workshop is an exceptional mechanic. He's skillfully serviced my two ebikes, impressing with his speedy and reasonably priced repairs. The store is impressively well-stocked, boasting an extensive range of merchandise. I initially sought out Jesus after other shops on Main Street declined a complex wheel repair. He swiftly sourced the right wheel and repaired it within three days, offering great value. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the service at Bicycle Workshop and strongly recommend them for any repair needs.

Went to purchase bicycle pump with air pressure gage. Only store I know of that carries one that wanted. Good variety of products in this store!

I love this bike shop!! Pricing is good - and work is done to the highest standard. My e-bike was losing spokes from the rear wheel - and Jesus ordered super strong replacement to solve the problem. He's honest, skilled and kept me informed every step of the way... If only I'd found this neighborhood bike repair shop sooner!!

I don't like to leave negative reviews, but it's warranted in this case. Though this bike store might be good for repairs, as some say, my experience purchasing a few items to fix a flat has left me grasping for words. I don't believe that I have seen someone behave this unprofessionally and be as sloppy as the gentleman who was helping me here. I won't return and I would be surprised if this place can accomplish anything with this attitude.

These guys are the best! They do great work on repairs and get the job done quickly. There's no "make an appointment for two weeks from now and MAYBE we'll have your bike fixed a week after that" like a certain other more well-known bike shop in Santa Monica. My last two repairs at Bicycle Workshop were in and out on the same day.I can't speak more highly of them!

Extremely expensive! You can find a repair shop on Lincoln Blvd for 1/5 the price!! This is unfortunate because this is in my neighborhood. But it seems businesses are catering to the ignorant or rich as bicycle repairs do not cost that much at all. Shop around and you'll see the price difference!!

Best A bike shop around! For many places service went out the door post Covid. Not here. While Bicycle Workshop is small and has a limited inventory they are extremely helpful, always willing to order special request inventory/parts, and are extremely fair!I should also mention I tried five other shops this week and was about to buy a lower quality, smaller bike, but these guys were able to work out a better deal. Definitely check’em out!

I really want to like the Bicycle Workshop. I really like the two guys working there, and have actually brought three different bikes to them for tune-ups over the past three years. I keep getting disappointed though. Actually, I keep getting really disappointed. While the mechanical work seems mostly fine, these are the things that make me want to finally learn my lesson and stop going to them:1. I keep being charged more than the quoted price, many times. I've started asking about prices in-depth (will this service be charged, is there a tax on this, does this service also have a fee, etc.), and no matter how much I try to get on the same page, they always have reasons to charge more that they didn't tell me on the front end. This even includes when I verbally state "So it sounds like it will be this much," and they say "Yep." Then, when I return, there are other fees, and they act as if I should have know there would be these additional costs. As if I hadn't put enormous effort into pinning down what a service will cost on the front end, before committing to it.Furthermore, when trying to pin down the price of something on the front end (no items have prices on them and the service prices aren't posted), they often seem to rush me and even imply that everything will be great, but then the bill is always more than the quoted cost.2. After a recent full tune up, which included bar tape, I had to redo the tape on one side, as it was very very shoddily done. Unprofessional, actually. I can do my own bar tape- the point of having them do it was not having to use my time for it. I had redo it on my own in the end anyways.3. After also getting new tires with reflective strips, they installed the tire on the front wheel with a bulging tube. I had to go back to get it fixed. This was today. Had I not closely inspected it, then it would have absolutely popped, and would have just been a matter of time before the front wheel got a flat. They also charged an install fee for this, which they did not disclose on the front end when I inquired about adding the new tires to my full-service tune-up after being repeatedly reassured that with the full-service tune-up, they'd take care of everything. And then there was this other undisclosed fee. I can change a tire and tube, and I can do it without a bulging tube and without an extra fee and having to get it fixed afterwards. As I write this, I wonder why I am even considering returning. I suppose it's because I do like the guys, I like the aesthetic of the shop, and it's near me. As posted above, I really WANT to like this shop, but keep being very very disappointed. I wish the quoted prices matched the cost after service and I wish the service was done to a higher standard. Good luck.
