The store owner, Twee, is extremely kind and knowledgeable. She has great recommendations and some helpful tips. The atmosphere she creates is so accepting and free of judgement that ones can find herself confiding with Twee about much more issues ones came for in the beginning. A true gem

I was walking by this shop on my way to Randy's, and my knee was hurting, so I turned around and went in. The lady who helped me was God sent. I ended up buying a knee brace from her, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip with my family. Thank you so much!!!

Acology is a gem of a shop on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, everything for Body & Soul if you're looking to get and stay healthy, fit, funloving & free as can be, all things considered. Come with hope and open to inspiration & exploration. Acology has been on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica for 30 some years and its owner, Thuy (pronounced Twee), is a true delight and a fountain of knowledge, information, insight and experience. Everything Yoga, Pilates, Exercise and plenty of interesting items, from toe separators to energy generators, creams, ointments, oils and curiosities galore. The stock is continually being upgraded with ntriguing, earth conscious new and old products and offerings. From the Power plate, magnetic balls, the Waff to reboot the nervous system on, it’s my go to for all things restorative and performance. Acology has a great inventory of health and wellness items, and an area in the back part of the store to test anything before you buy. We’ve bought many things here - from insoles, to yoga mats, to foam rollers, Jeager bands, to arnica cream. The best thing about it is the customer service, the staff is always so helpful and knowledgable.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Found exactly what I needed, and even gave me stretching suggestions that physical therapists had not recommended. Not the cheapest, but this is a local independent store that has been in Santa Monica for 30 years. I always want to support our small businesses.

I have been to Acology 3 times and this is my last. It took a minute but I finally found a few places that have reasonable prices and service.Parking here is not easy and be very careful of the metered areas.The place is cute and it is clean.They have a decent selection of lotions and massage equipment. The problem is that their prices are sometimes 3 times higher than what I can get on line or simply at CVS. CVS has a returns allowed policy. Acology does not. They can be very rude if you try to return anything. When I was in the store I witnessed a woman trying to return something she bought the day before, receipt in hand, and she was told, you bought it, it is yours. They would not even giver her credit for the item. I can't deal with that at all.I asked about a few things I was looking for and the salesperson was quite rude to me. I have no idea why, I am a nice person.I will never go back there. The customer service is so bad, the prices are crazy and parking is a nightmare. But again, the place is clean.

Acology has been around for a while and offers great services and merchandise. Please do not let the nutters and naysayers prevent you from utilizing the services these good people offer. Most of all do not listen to or consider the monsters on Nextdoor who have mental problems and want to take this business down with their crazy conspiracy theories. Small businesses in the state have enough problems than to be lied about and hounded by a group of people who have too much time in their hands and nothing in their heads. My comment to them is "leave people alone, especially the small businesses who are busting their chops to stay open." You are vile. Blessings you guys - may you fare well regardless of the nutters. P.S. This business got very few if any negative reviews. See for yourself. It was not until this nutter, see attached, made this comment six months ago. After that every nutter with QANON on the brain has besmirched these people, this business. Knock it off fruitcakes! Mental illness is rife on the Westside. THESE PEOPLE should be ashamed of themselves. They didn't even base THEIR VILENESS on facts, only assumptions. So typical of their ilk.

I love this little gem of a store! Owner Terri is so helpful and knowledgeable. She really cares about her customers. She was a true hero during the pandemic, ensuring that our community had the supplies we needed. As a local RN, my hospital could not provide us with N95s at that time. Upon hearing that, she donated boxes of her supply to our staff. I stopped by this morning and was able to pick up just what I needed. Wonderful customer service as usual! Store is neat and clean. I would totally recommend Acology for your health and wellness needs!
