I went to AAA to get my international driver's license done and the service was perfect. Both people at reception were super courteous and knew what they were doing, I left in ten minutes with the document in hand.

Great service for a new customer but not so much for an existing customer. Also there will be a cancellation fee.

Sometimes, when you have to deal with car stuff it's not always pleasant.
Today was the exception. I was lucky enough to have Enicka (hope my spelling is correct) helping me. She was gracious, knowlegeable and very helpful, all the while with a great smile.
Can't say enough good things about this location.
Thank you and see you soon!

My battery died at 11:30 pm in Long Beach. I needed a jump start that takes all of five minutes. AAA said they will come by 12:11 am. Great. Next call they said nevermind they will come by 12:52 am we promise. Next call nevermind now it is 2:07 am when they will come. Finally nevermind they will come at 2:32 am. Keep in mind I kept telling them I did not feel safe where I was and to please give me an accurate time frame so I could figure out my plan. Turns out the driver was in my area the entire time and told me he could have come hours ago but AAA didn't call him until the last 40 minutes. AAA gave me the run around and kept changing the story. It was a horrid and scary experience

Really shoddy service, though some AAA drivers are kind and as helpful as they are allowed to be under the circumstances. I called for battery service and they could not bring out a battery for a Prius. A friggin' PRIUS!!! Luckily, the AAA driver told me how I could get the 100 dollar late re-up fee (this is new and unfair) back after I had been promised by the phone agent that he could bring me a Prius battery. I think he felt bad that I had been coerced into buying. They did refund the 100.00--so I was happy about that. Worse than this though--when you are covered for the year and fully paid up, AAA still sends offers to you as if you were a first time member, or one who is not paid up. This can be incredibly confusing and costly and it's completely shady. An older person might take the bait and I think that's what they're counting on and pay for extra coverage because of misleading ads that they shouldn't be getting in the first place. The one sent to me claimed that I had not activated my coverage and so they were sending me some new cards. Not true. This is a one time GREAT organization that has gotten greedy and inept over the last two decades. If you have any other option, I'd suggest it.

333329 service Yesterday I was trapped in area of LA that I was unfamiliar with after a wellness visit for a relative. It was poorly lit, and had partially flooded. A car was stopped in the middle of the road without flashers and the road seemed initially passable. I tried to pass the car on the left but the water level obscured a curb and my low lying Toyota Prius was struck unable to advance or retreat. I called AAA immediately, was told I was second on the list for a local towing company and they would arrive in 30 minutes. After waiting an hour with the water level rising, Carlos T arrived from Preferred Towing LLC. He asked what happened, did not exit his vehicle ( a flatbed towing truck), stated he would need to help others first, drove around me and the other car without any other interaction and sat 100 yards north for 15-20 minutes before driving away. I called AAA multiple times was treated with disregard, was told the towing company said there was a pile up and cancelled the request because my identification did not match (none was requested). AAA agent gave me the number for Preferred Towing and the dispatcher, Julie, who callously stated they couldn't assist us and advised to call 911, who again recommended a towing company. After waiting 3 hours, a private towing company extracted my car without any damage in less then 10minutes. AAA you do not deserve my loyalty or my business.Preferred Towing you should be ashamed for not extracting us, abandoning us, and a clear lack of competence and integrity ( using a lie as a shield). Be warned all loyal AAA members : they lied as well because a second request was submitted and sent to the same company and their wellness check for me was 4 hours after the initial call, informing me that I was left without options.

On November 13th,2023, I paid $11.03 for two two (2) Passport Pictures taken at the Santa Monica AAA Office at 2730 Santa Monica Blvd. These were rejected by the Passport Agency being the wrong facial dimension (too small) as they included top garments. I asked to be refunded but as of today never received the $11.02 Avoid their Passport Photo Service, go to the Main Post Office instead ! Johan VanLeer

This morning I got into my car and it was "paralyzed" and slightly beeping quietly and my electric everything wasn't working. My gear shift would not move and I was in a panic! I had an important doctor's appointment and stressed out beyond words! Called Brentwood AAA and also my mechanic to let him know I might be having my car towed there. ( always have a back up plan) TIP* Anyway, I could not get my trunk open and I literally had to crawl into my trunk behind my front seat. I drive a two seater car and it is 20 years old. Needless to say somehow I was able to push a button inside the trunk that opened it up ... Tbird batteries are in the trunk. ( so, in case I ever get kidnapped, I now know how to escape... silver lining? ;) ). Anyway, he jumped my battery and everything worked perfectly! My AAA person was a joy ... he assured me it would work out but he was too big to crawl into the area. So happy all my limbs worked as I slithered through... We have been premium members for 23 years and I have never had a bad experience! I let the car run for 30 minutes and made my appointment with time to spare... phew I highly recommend AAA and urge everyone to sign up with them. They are a great company with amazing service and wonderful employees ! Brentwood Club Service is my local community branch and I am forever grateful at how quickly they responded !
