I've never felt more compelled to warn potential customers about the abysmal service and downright disrespectful attitude of the employees at the 7-Eleven located at 630 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, CA. As a resident of this upscale neighborhood, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic human decency exhibited by the staff, particularly one individual who stands out as the epitome of incompetence and rudeness.
Let's start with the main offender: an employee whose demeanor makes it abundantly clear that customer service is not just low on his priority list, but completely nonexistent. Unfortunately, the photo I'm attaching is not from my own experience but from another complaint, yet it perfectly encapsulates the essence of this employee's atrocious behavior. This individual consistently treats patrons like trash, exuding an aura of disdain that is palpable from the moment you walk through the door.
This employee seems to have mistaken Santa Monica for Compton, as his attitude would be more fitting in a neighborhood devoid of basic civility. In an area known for its affluence and tourism, one would expect a modicum of respect and courtesy towards customers. Instead, what we get is a sour-faced individual who seems to derive pleasure from making people feel unwelcome.
Adding insult to injury, this 7-Eleven has become a magnet for homeless individuals, further exacerbating the already dismal atmosphere. As someone who frequents this establishment solely for the purpose of purchasing lottery tickets, I find myself increasingly reluctant to subject myself to such deplorable treatment.
In conclusion, I implore the management of this 7-Eleven location to take swift and decisive action to rectify this situation. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. Until such changes are implemented, I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I strongly advise others to do the same.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at a 7-Eleven location that I feel compelled to share. While trying to purchase a lotto ticket, an employee, later identified as Jackson by his co-worker Alex, addressed me in a completely unacceptable manner, using a derogatory term (FUCKING B**!) that I found deeply offensive. Such disrespect and unprofessionalism are not what I would expect from any establishment, especially one I have previously visited without issues. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior, significantly affecting my view of this store. The situation worsened when the machine failed to read my ticket correctly. Jackson, instead of offering calm assistance, began to blame and yell at me, insisting it was my fault. I attempted to explain that the malfunction of the machine was beyond our control and requested that he not blame or yell at me. This incident has left me deeply disappointed. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to ensure all customers are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve. P.S.: I was uncertain if Alex was truthful about his co-worker's name, so I took a picture to document the incident.

Charged 5 dollars more than posted for an item, didn't have all day to argue it and the cashier was less than motivated to make it right.

I came here looking for some Chile lime flavor potato chip lays. He told me there was none left. I then looked around and found one. This is a sign they do not keep track of their inventory. I almost bought a inferior product instead. Me as the customer should not have a better idea of the inventory than the staff. My friend ordered some chicken taquitos and he bit into beef. I am glad he did not have any allergies or religious concerns because that will F people up. Having a single 22 year old as the only person on late nights is cutting corners and a recipe for disaster. It's quite clear someone needs to give a damn about the products.

This 7-11 needs to be shut down. Not only does it decide when it wants to open and close and random times (says it’s open 24 hours ) so few places around for people who are working or just getting off work to get snacks and drinks. Not only that there were Homless people and verman around. Maybe that’s why they were closed. This 7-11 should be shut down and a store that cares about the neighborhood should open. SHUT EM DOWN!!!!

Came here on 10/26/23 at 2:50 AM and the doors were locked and the employee was standing behind the counter and refused to let me in and wouldn't say anything other than stare at me. Definitely not coming back here again

Why is this 7-Eleven closed at 1 am. With no reopening until 6 am. I thought the store was 24 hours. It makes it hard for Uber eats Deliveries. It was a waste of my time to try and pick up a delivery. If you're not going to be open remove yourself from the Uber Eats platform. SMH.

Clerk at store was extremely rude to me buying a lotto ticket. I'm not familiar buying them. He immediately printed quick picks and didn't ask if I wanted my own numbers. I told him I ok, but I wanted to pick numbers. A nice man inside said, you should have ask her, and started yelling stay out of it. I said he was just at being polite. Then he starts screaming, "She's wrong! She's wrong!" ( I had already told him I would buy those) Then he turned his rage on me. I said," In the past I would have been ask." I ask for the owner, and he said he was the owner, and called me an old lady. I told him he should not be in a position of customer service and he smiled and said, " Fuck you, old lady" again. I replied the same to him. The older clerck behind the counter tried to defuse the situation, and was polite. This clerk should be fired. I have worked in a position of customer service for forty years, and told the clerck in the beginning of this transaction that I would go ahead and buy them, even though it wasn't what I wanted. Fire this rude, and arrogant person.

Very small, there is parking, but the lot is FULL of homeless people, they’re plying classical music to keep them away but clearly doesn’t work. Didn’t feel safe here, the store is small and dirty, and the employees are far from friendly. Will not return or recommend.
