I am usually pleased with Target because I go in and out really quickly. I don't often ask for help but at the Santa Maria store it's like a 50/50 getting someone that's genuinely nice. Now understand that retail can be a stressful job however just tonight my mother was in the store and came out not wanting to shop there. I asked her what happened. I was informed that an employee was rather rude and made her feel stupid. She was asking about pest products that are safe for pets and humans. They denied that there were products that are eco-friendly for pest control however there is a product called "Stem" that kills ants and is pet and human-safe that is sold at Target. She was looking if there was a similar product for fleas too. If the employee was unsure then they could have said that they weren't familiar with that type of product. Instead, they kept saying that there was no such thing and gave her off-putting looks. I get that the employee may have things going on in their personal life however they seem to not understand so does everyone. My mom just lost her dog who was her sister's before passing away. She really didn't need to be treated so rudely tonight. My mom and I rather travel north and spend the gas to go to the SLO Target, than feel uncomfortable at the one here. Maybe they will be better, time will tell when we go.

I was in Target last week and noticed a dog in somebody's shopping cart. This dog was not a service dog nor did it have a vest on. A little while later this little dog was out of the cart running up and down the aisle with a kid. I brought it to the cashiers attention and he said oh we allow any pets in the store and we are pet friendly. I call bs.

I was just in there and the manager Chad was absolutely on his game. He had everybody doing what they're supposed to be doing he was helping customers. He was great so kudos to you Chad wonderful job.

Pharmacy - mediocre, I was there for a few minutes to pick up prescriptions before someone actually acknowledged me on the counter. Once they start the process, they are pleasant and very helpful.Floor staff - they don't even know their store hours, let alone the pharmacy hours.... Which is strange. Aren't those some of the things you should know when you WORK there? It was one of the younger staff....

The things that they have are okay. The problem I have was that some of the people working there were mean. They gave me attitude when I was asking simple questions. Me personally I wouldn't recommend going back there

If you want items on time and when promised, DO NOT use Target.com. I ordered some items for my granddaughter's first visit with us. I specifically ordered items that would arrive before she got here. I opted not to order items with a later delivery date. Today, 7/15/22, on my scheduled delivery date, I received an email notifying me that my items were delayed and wouldn't arrive for several more days. If Target can't guarantee a delivery date, then don't post one! Some of my items are shipping from a warehouse 4 hours from my house!

I've never seen such an organized mess. This store is torn side to side and cluttered. Nothing is in the right place and it's on the ground or it's somewhere else. They need some structure here and start running it like a store. One isle some kid were messing around and tearing up and security was not intervening. I won't ever visit here again it gave me anxiety trying to find one simple item.

I just walked into this store and wanted to immediately leave the premises. Clothing was thrown all about on the floors on top of the racks and display stands as well as shoes and miscalleneous products. Truly, an injury waiting to happen with a potential lawsuit. No one should have to manuever about the walkways and isles avoiding items that they can trip and fall over. I personnally have a hip injury and have to watch where I step. Having items on the floor does not help. Associates are around but no one seen taking initiative to pick up items. If there is Supervision then they are lacking in their duties, no excuse for a public display of store negligence by any store associate. It brings the overall outlook of the store down. Corporate Officials should be made aware of this matter. A total breakdown of management and should be addressed accordingly.

I shop at Target all the time and for the most part I never have any issues. Today my employee at work told me that she went to target and just asked the target representatives if they had PS5's in stock. The employee went to the back and came out with one. My employee even said the two guys helping her made the comment that they had at least 7 of them left. So I called to see if they had a couple left and now all of the sudden you have to order online. I think that's unfair and unprofessional that they would sell a PS5 in store but then change up and lie about them having it in the back. Employees need to stop lying to customers.

I went into Target to purchase two kids bike to donate for Christmas . Dennis was nice enough to assemble both bikes at no charge. Great customer service . Will continue to shop at Target

Love coming to target to be greeted and helped by the staff. Thank you Antonio for helping me find the crazy glue and going over to get it for me. You knew I was tired from looking for it lol Thank you!

They are really trying with their customer service here the cashiers are friendly, you can tell they are putting in an effort. The other day my drive up order was taking a while and for the inconvenience I was given a gift card, which was unexpected but that was so kind. Target is providing great customer service, they are on it!

Victoria in electronics section has no on how to treat customers, nor does she have any knowledge of what she is there to sell. Too busy on her phone to learn her job. If looking for electronics, go to another establishment in Santa Maria.

Came yesterday for a coffee pot and some groceries. Haven't been to this location in years! It's much nicer than I remember. Still was able to drop 100 bucks in 20 minutes. Love me some TaRget! Lol. Was not very busy and was fully stocked if everything I needed. My black and decker 20.00 coffee pot works great, programmable too! Check out was fast and easy. Place was clean and organized.
