Just a converted gas station to a 7-11 type store. I did watch a pot deal go down and they didn't even attempt to conceal what they were doing, the guy gave him a baggie and he held it up to the light then gave the guy some money!!

Going here since I was a kid for the same reason as the rest of the reviews claiming the same. Went in this morning. This older white lady ive never seen before was cashiering. I've never been so f***** up by someone's vibe and disrespect. Spoke to me like a child when I didn't realize Apple Pay and debit needed to be read different. Scolded me with 5 people behind me. I didn't deserve it. Especially making respectful small talk and bantering back forth before. Her switch up F***** up my morning for sure. I'll have to ask when the normal guys work and make sure I only stop by then. The matter was simply adjusting the pay method. None of that was necessary

This is a Santa Maria landmark. I've been coming here for years and it's really never changed since I was a little kid. I like coming here because it is family owned and they always make these deep fried burritos in the morning. The breakfast burritos are so good! When I was younger I would stop by here on the way to school and grab two of them! Sometimes during the day they had regular deep fried burritos but that was awhile back. Not sure if they still do it now especially since covid and everything but these were so good. The prices here are pretty fair in my personal opinion especially since it's right off the freeway and they have little things that you might need if you don't want to drive straight to the super market. Overall I love this place! The people that work here are awesome and the prices are fair!

The guys that run Short Stop are the sweetest. They always encourage my kids to pay and help them count change if one of my boys gets shy. We need more people like this in the world. Skip 711 and go here instead!
