2022 Well the warm and wonderful Dr. Magee helped my Simon so much once again. He had a growth on his tail and she encouraged me to have it removed. I waited a little while but then decided that "Doctor Knows Best" and went ahead and scheduled Simon for the surgery. Before surgery they did a blood and urine workup and found he also had the beginning of a Urinary infection. So that was immediately stopped in its tracks with antibiotics. Simon's tail is all healed up now. Even though he's almost twelve, he is acting like a young kitten running everywhere and exploring. He feels so great! I feel so blessed to have found such a great vet!

Today ....a year from my last visit, we visited Dr. Magee again. Wow! What an amazing vet! So warm and caring. I feel very blessed to have found her! Simon is healthier and happier then he has ever been. I am so relieved. The staff is great, too!.

W Waller Ln, Santa MariaThis review is a little overdue. I had to euthanize my cat a few months ago, right around the holidays. Dr. Waterman and staff made the entire process a little easier. They asked if they could pray for her, wrapped her in a blanket, and made sure she was comfortable. Talked me through the whole process. Even cried a little with me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and am so very appreciative to have them help me during such a difficult time.

910 W Main St, Santa MariaThey are excellent at Santa Maria Animal Hospital. Dr.Thiessen is amazing, warm hearted and puts you and the animals at total ease. Super awesome place I would highly recommend. Great energy and friendly helping hands. My regular vet refused to see her bc of her fragility and ER refused her as well bc it was not an emergency so I called Santa Maria Animal Hospital and they saw her, did the tests she needed for her cardiologist and along the way we went! Pearl will only be seeing Dr.Thiessen from now on. Incredible people over there! ?Thank you so very much ??

It was a cold and rainy day so we took a table by the fireplace and enjoyed our wine tasting. Our host was attentive and allowed us to take our time while we tasted. We left with several bottles of wine. If you are in the Santa Maria Valley area and you want to experience some delicious wines then you need to stop by Cambria Winery.

1331 Nicholson Ave, Santa MariaAt first...you're driving and you're trying to look for vineyards...and then you're wondering if you are in the right place. You come to this parking lot with a lot of cars, there's a hot dog place and another restaurant and you see Costa De Oro. We went in and they were decked out for Halloween. Shelly was there to greet us and made us feel very welcomed. We did the tasting and this is one of the very rare times where...every single one I had was excellent! So much so that we got a few bottles to go. They don't have food (but wine and cheese pairing) but that's not a problem because you can order from next door and I'm just going to say...wow! Food was great! We loved the ambiance, the customer service was top notch, the wine was DELICIOUS! It reminds me of the show Cheers..."where everybody knows your name" but it makes you feel right at home. We will definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend!

The Garden Mediterranean Restaurant & Cafe
122 E Boone St, Santa MariaI ordered the lentil soup which is excellent. Then, next was the vegetarian combination platter. It includes a Tabbouli salad that's full of flavor with lots of lemon juice. My favorite on this plate is the babaganoush which is made of roasted eggplant. Their hummus is so creamy and topped with olive oil, parsley and chickpeas. I'm not a huge fan of cold stuffed grape leaves, but I do like theirs because it's not so oily. And finally the falafels have a nice crunchy crust and soft fully-cooked interior making it perfectly delicious. With the toasted pita bread, I'm so full! Best of all, I know it's such a healthy meal.

763 S Broadway, Santa MariaMy family dined at the Century Room for Mother's Day Brunch. The restaurant is pretty and has a historic charm. For brunch there were tables lined with food ranging from traditional breakfast, seafood, meat stations, vegetables, fruit tables, dessert tables, bagels, pastries, etc. There is truly something for everyone! The food was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had the champagne brunch with the all you can eat buffet and it was priced well. We had a great experience

The Century Room Restaurant
Santa MariaThree of us had dinner here on 7/5/24. First the negative: The strawberry salad had spicy pepper flakes that were not mentioned in the menu. We ordered bread and decaf coffee, but they didn't have any. The positive: The grilled salmon and fish taco were excellent. The Crème brûlée dessert was also very good. The atmosphere was very good but a bit dark. And the service was outstanding. They eventually brought out the bread, but we are not sure why we didn't get any originally. While the dinner was less than perfect, the mistakes can and should be fixed easily. I would be willing to give them one more chance.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicap parking right next to a wheelchair ramp.
