“Love, love, love this neighborhood market. This is what the USA neighborhoods should have everywhere. I nice market where you get to know the workers and prices are competitive. I wish their were more Spencer's Fresh Markets in neighborhoods around the state. I prefer this place over any of the big-box stores and prices are very comparable.”

“Since moving to Lompoc from San Antonio, I’ve been looking for a grocery store with Korean ingredients. This store has many Korean pantry items, such as ssamjang, ramyeon, soy and sesame sauce, turtle and shrimp chips, and soy milks (banana, coffee, melon, taro, and strawberry), as well as some refrigerated items like kimchi and Korean rice cakes. I will continue to shop here when I plan to make Korean food ??
The only thing that could make this store better in my opinion would be grab and go gimbap”

“I want to extend a shout out to the two store employees and security officer who came to my aid. I was buying groceries and placed one jar of pickles and one jar of pickled beets on the top cart. I forgot to place the flap down and the two Jars fell out onto the floor. What a mess. I was so embarrassed. These three heros stepped in to clean the mess. I apologized and they made me feel better by saying, " It's OK no problem. We have this." There smile and body language just calmed me down as I was feeling bad for my oversight. I wish I would have gotten there names but Vallarta Supermarket you have great people working for you. As I made my way through your store every person who worked for you while I was there yesterday, from the bakery, to the takeout food dept, to the meat dept, cheese deli and vegi dept, were all very happy to help me. Great job. I was very impressed.”

Everything was nice and organized when I came in and they knew their store and lead me to the exact isle and location of the items I needed! The item I came in for wasn't out on the shelf, but Zachary wasn't gonna let that slide and went to the back to get the item for me!!!!! Thank you guys for your excellent service!!!”
“It's a bit tucked away so the store can be easily driven past, but this place has great prices and can help you save a bit of money compared to a lot of the other stores in the area.”
“The staff here are very nice, and money orders are only $1. However, parking can be challenging during rush hours as they share a small lot with Taco Bell, a laundromat, CHC, and other businesses. Additionally, Walmart reserves about five spots for the pharmacy. This is the only downside I’ve encountered. To save gas, consider parking on the street during rush hours..”

“I've been going to the kitchen inside this meat market since 2010. Adobada/pastor burrito is by far the most impressive flavor ever. Add in some hot salsa and its a completed meal. For $6.99, what a bargin with all the inflated prices going around”
“A well stocked and clean grocery store. The employees have been friendly whenever I've been and I've had no problems finding all the items I needed. I will say it's a tad bit cold in the store so if you can bring a sweater, but other than that I have no complaints with this location.”

“For some reason, Google doesn't have a designation for Middle Eastern groceries, but this place has some of the best stuff! If you're looking for Ulker Labneh, Freekeh, Hummus, Makdous, Molukheeyih, or even Mars bars, this place has got it and more! Abdu (Abe) is super friendly and it felt like being home to shop here. Highly recommended for your Arabic grocery needs and drinks/snacks :)Thank you for giving me one fewer reason to drive all the way to LA for the foods I crave!”

“This is a Santa Maria landmark. I've been coming here for years and it's really never changed since I was a little kid. I like coming here because it is family owned and they always make these deep fried burritos in the morning. The breakfast burritos are so good! When I was younger I would stop by here on the way to school and grab two of them! Sometimes during the day they had regular deep fried burritos but that was awhile back. Not sure if they still do it now especially since covid and everything but these were so good. The prices here are pretty fair in my personal opinion especially since it's right off the freeway and they have little things that you might need if you don't want to drive straight to the super market. Overall I love this place! The people that work here are awesome and the prices are fair!”

“I love Trader Joe’s in general, and especially this location! After frequenting quite a few Trader Joe’s locations in different areas, this is certainly one of our favorites for sure. Generally, always well stocked, great selection, and prices of foods as all their locations have, and super friendly staff, which is always a huge bonus! There is certainly plenty of parking, right around the location in the parking lot, Bill caveat is it can be a little crazy with cars and pedestrians if you happen to park right in front of the store. Otherwise, if you park a little further away in the lot, it’s less of a headachein coming and going from the lot itself. Even though it’s about a 40 minute drive each way from where we live, it’s definitely worth the drive compared to shopping at any of the other Trader Joe’s locations in the opposite direction from where we live.”
