This is the only mechanic shop I trust. Over a span of 15 years, they have serviced all of our vehicles. We are not a family that upgrades our cars often, we prefer not having car payments...so we choose to keep our cars maintenced and fix anything that comes up. Our current oldest vehicle is 10 years old and still going strong, it is because we have a great mechanic who keeps it running top notch for us! Highly recommend if youre in need of an honest mechanic!

Very clean for a mechanic shop, the owner is very helpful and he showed the broken parts afterwards! I've never seen that before in other mechanic shops! Will come back for sure!

Last 8/12/22 I visited Gonzalez Automotive, I had a couple pleasant experiences there with my jeep, so when it came time to have a driver side window motor replaced in my Porsche, this buisness came to mind for the repair, $260 and Vola" I had a fully functional Driver window again! 11 months later today! The same window problem, in other words there work lasted 11 months!! I didn't even think twice there would be an issue taking back and showing them the part went out already, I felt confident they would be like "" oh man " sorry let's get that taken care of, it only 11 months, no worries we got you"": to my surprise, they said bad news we only garentee our work for 6 months!!! 6 months? Not even a year??Your work is that bad, that you only gaurentee your services for 6 months!! Definitely won't be returning here, and see , me being turned away, they lost all 4 of my cars being serviced there, in the long run its going to cost them!!!When it comes to window regulators Definitely go somewhere else, they don't gaurentee there work for at least a year! Only 6 months!! I mean if your rich and want to throw away hard earned money then by all means go there!!!

This place operates their business the right way. Honest and reasonable prices. Not like all the big name auto mechanic shops in Santa Maria thst hire technicians and charge outrageous prices for everything. Highly recommend Gonzalez Automotrix!! If you want to deal with salesman go to the big commercial shops or dealer and be ready to pay top dollar$$$ for average to sub-part technicians- want a mechanic go to Automotrix.
