Really thought I had found a shop I could trust. Took my vehicle in for an oil change and was told I needed to replace my radiator because they could see a leak and my coolant was very low. I hadn't noticed any indicator light cone on regarding the coolant and the temp was always normal so I was of course caught off guard. Before I spent a a few thousand dollars on a new one I had a radiator pressure test ran elsewhere to check for the leak that they said they could clearly see. After a 20min test they could not locate a leak. I have also been monitoring the coolant level and it's where it was over a month ago when they topped it off. Who knows if it was them trying to meet quota or thought I was an easy target as a female, but proceed with caution.
They seem like they do quality work, just may be over diagnosing

Unprofessional people at front desk. Petty and will go out of their way to make your experience miserable if you so much as question their process. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Highly recommended for Mini.
My mini started making a terrible sound on the freeway in Santa Maria about 30 miles from my usual repair shop. I had my car towed to German Auto and they were so great. They accurately diagnosed the problem and took care of it.
I am so thankful to all of the folks there that helped me out.

Had my GTI repaired here. Friendly staff, knowledgeable mechanics, and completely satisfied. They even have financing available for them unexpected repairs.

The front desk team is really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The repairs are always good and, if something gets missed, very quick to address it and get it done. Highly recommend for BMW based Mini Coopers, as that what I've brought to them, but also highly recommend for domestics also!

These people are the worst german mechanics i’ve been to. I brought my Audi a4 to them more than 5 times in a month because my car kept dying, they tell me it’s something with my battery, i get a new battery and it still keeps dying. I do the millions of things they say will fix it and it never fixed my car. They did this when it would only be myself and my mother coming in but as soon as my father stepped into the picture magically my car is back to normal. I had better service from the dude I paid to work on it out of his garage. If you’re having serious car problems do yourself a favor and take it to Rizzoli’s or a dealership.

I am a 56-year-old man and this is only the second review I have ever given. In 2022 I was cited with a DUI. The best course for me was to get a ignition interlock installed in my car go to work. The closest business to install the unit to me was German auto, lucky for me. I found the staff sympathetic to the position I put myself into. They gave me invaluable knowledge that the interlock company and DMV did not give me. The mechanics were highly professional and eager to give their insight on the inner workings of the device to avoid problems in the future. The path to get myself back on track has been difficult, but my only solace has been I’ve met some exceptional individuals who genuinely wanted to help me.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my VW in for timing chain replacement along with cam shafts. I've had to take it back 4 times and every time I've been the one calling for updates. One time car was repaired and no one ever called me. They have provided a rental but that's me driving to rental car company and picking up car then returning it and going to pick up my car. It's just very time consuming all because they can't fix the car. If anything changes I will update star rating.
