My insurance company pushed me here vehicle had a small scrape on 2 panels The estimated time each time said 3days but took all week.First appt. they did not color match correctly, the color transfer was not completely removed, the scrape that was polished out was still visible. More damage was caused during the repair process, that was not there when we took it in. We had to point it out.Second appt pick up, the color match was pretty good this time but the touch ups they did on the damage they caused was already peeling up and the bumper was not installed properly, it was missing several body clips. The bumper and body panel were not aligned properly because of a bracket they broke, they did replace that but only after we complained. The original damage was still slightly visible, they did not take the time to fully polish out the damage until i pointed it out to the managerThird appt they did not take the time to color match the touch up spots they caused and they left a hand print on the headliner, they got paint on the door jam and Caused minor scratching from removing the bumper so many times. At this point we just decided we had to accept it for what it isThey will fix their mistakes if you bring it to their attention and hold them accountable. Management is helpful when trying o fix things. However, the shop does not have good attention to detail.If you do go here be sure to check your vehicle before you leave the lot, they have poor quality control and fit and finishServices: Painting

Been taking my vehicles to Foster's for last 10 years. Wouldn't consider any other shop. Not only are they super nice but they do excellent work. Never have I been disappointed in the quality of services they've provided for me. I've taken at least 4 vehicles to have body work performed. They also deal with the insurance so I'm not having to. When the car it's totaled they explain why and show you exactly what was wrong and why they came to that conclusion. Foster's is the best body shop on the central coast in my opinion.

We had an accident, a really scary one, on the freeway, in the rain, in Santa Maria on our way to vacation in Paso Robles.Fosters Body & Paint was recommended to us by AAA.They went over the top to take care of us! Roxie was so nice and caring and efficient.They even watched our dog while we loaded our stuff (lots because we were on vacation!) into our car.I believe the gentleman's name was Cory and he was so helpful and gave us great advice about our next steps, even to help us see if we could get the car towed to our home town to get the repairs done there!What angels on such a hellish day.Thank you!

My 2002 Tahoe was heavily vandalized and needed extensive repair. The customer service was great and the repairs and paint were excellent. A few months later, they helped me set up paint less dent repair after my freshly painted door was hit. It needed to be buffed out and they handled that as well. I would recommend this shop to my family and friends.

I'm going to have to say it wasn't all that good I remember going there as a kid and I loved it it was good just not great you know I got a chili dog as messy as hell got all over overall I was just okay maybe my expectations were too high

Don’t waste your time……. Took my car into Fosters Auto Body for. an Estimate and was told by owner Steve I would get an email the next day via email but never received the email or estimate. Called the auto body shop two days later and was told they would send me the estimate the following week but never received any email or estimate , just a total waste of my time. Don’t waste your time trying to do business with this auto shop go to a shop that values there customers and shows a little integrity and respect for their customers.Service: Air conditioning

Don't bother wasting your time.... Took my car to Fosters Body & Paint for an estimate on getting my car painted, Steve the owner looked at my car and told me I would receive the estimate via email the following day. Two days past and was never sent any estimate for painting my car. I then called the body shop and was now told the estimate would be sent the following week, so I waited and once again no estimate was ever sent, they also told me I would receive a phone call as well but that never happened either, just a total waste of my time. Very poor customer service would not recommend Foster's Body & Paint for repair on your auto don't know how they stay in business with their poor business practices and terrible way they treat potential customers.

Only got a star cuz I had to that deserve zero stars..This shop took my truck in twice 1st didn't fully repair claim work from insurance placed a bumper no matching vin number didn't fit not compatible.. damaged door and front passenger fender well being worked on in there shop.. shop manager has no control over customer service in the store .. 2nd time picked up truck after 10 days no rental car not asked by shop.. now there's paint don't match four panels they painted.. the repairs were horrible look like white out.. went in to resolve issue .. owner offered me 3500 dollars .. estimate to get truck fixed correctly is 5600 with no warranty from other shops most shops won't touch or warranty cuz work is so hacked ... Please save your self the troubles do not bring your truck here this company has been sued multiple times ....

I brought some Harley bodywork in for custom painting Foster's did a beautiful job for a great price..Steve is great to deal with also. I would not hesitate to use them again

The customer service from the office was really great! Unfortunately the repair schedule was far too slow. I had to call repeatedly to get any answers and was told multiple times that the mechanic would call me back and he never did. When I did talk to him he'd say he was getting to my truck soon, waiting on parts, short staffed, etc. it just kept getting delayed. It would have been better for him to let me know on the front end that it was going to take several months to repair, instead of stringing me along with false promises. I finally took my vehicle back, not repaired, with a partial refund. Frustrating.

On, December 02, 2021, I was involved in an auto accident. Since we used Foster’s many years ago, we never forgot how kind and professional they were, so we took our car to them.Just as we remembered, they went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. Leslie did a very fair job in estimating our repairs and spending time with us and showing our daughters the antique car shop; Jeannette was always Johnny on the spot with up-to-date developments, and Cory was timely in sending us pictures and the status of the repairs every day.This was not an easy fix. The car was taken to Fosters on January 10, 2022. There were problems with the car due to the accident, so Foster’s had to work with the dealership from whom we bought the car. Fosters had the car towed to the dealership (from Santa Maria to San Luis Obispo) for repairs and Corey and Jeannette went back and forth with the dealership for weeks until the car was fixed to their satisfaction, and that the car was safe for the customer. Safety was their main concern.Because of the extra work that Cory and Jeannette put into ensuring that the car was working properly and safe to drive, we did not get it until the middle of March 2022.During this time, we had to use a rental car. Jeanette worked with Enterprise Car Rental to keep them apprised of the repairs and to make sure that they did not charge us for the rental; but that AAA paid for everything. Hats off to Caesar at Enterprise Rental Car in Grover Beach! He was the best!!We are very blessed that Foster’s has always been there to assist and answer any questions.Thank you all so much!Services: Painting
