I needed the dreaded injector replacement job on my Duramax Lb7. A laborious and tedious job that must be done correctly. After much stressing and searching, and hearing a bunch of nonsense from several other shops, I got lucky and found these guys. From the initial phone conversation to completion of the job, all I ever got was straight talk, straight dealing, expertise and professionalism. And all at a very fair price.So if you’re within striking distance of Santa Maria and need a diesel doctor, do yourself a favor and don’t even think about going anywhere except Diesel Injection Systems.

Our Chevy Duramax diesel was having mechanical issues while visiting the Santa Maria area and we were so fortunate to find Diesel Injection Systems. Larry and his team were welcoming, empathetic, and accommodating given our situation (from out of town and pulling a fifth wheel trailer). Not only did they fix our issue (damaged intercooler booster hose), but Larry took the time to follow up with a phone call the next day to ensure we had a safe trip home. Impressive and caring service that is not easy to find!

I phoned them in the morning to see if they could service my vehicle which had a check engine light on. I told them I was from out of state visiting family. I was told that they were busy but if I came in at 2:00 they could look at my vehicle. When I arrived at 1:50 I was told that they couldn’t check my vehicle for a couple of weeks. I asked them why then did they tell me to come in at 2pm. The man then said “I didn’t tell you to come in.” He left and came back and said the other employee who takes calls didn’t tell me to come in either. They called me a liar yet the receptionist remembered my calls from earlier. The last thing I wanted was to have my vehicle worked on by untrustworthy mechanics so I walked out. Stay away from this place, Poor customer service.
