Terrible Service! I reserved a full size Chrysler 300 months ago to travel to LAX. Three people, overseas for three weeks. I needed the luggage space. I called the day before to first make sure they were going to be open and had my reservation. Yes open until 4:00pm. Good, they have a habit of closing before a reservation time as agreed to during the reservation process with you company. I arrived in time to pick up my rental and they didn’t have the size car to fit my luggage. Recall 3 big suitcases? The option was a Mustang or a Camaro. Each has a trunk that would fit one suitcase, Maybe! He did come out while I was looking at the Two. The other option was a bit larger, but cramped on our trip. He said the car he rented us was out of service, but it was ok. It was dirty and only had a 1/4 tank of fuel. I called your customer service to ask what to do and it took three people, the first agent, then her supervisor, then another agent to get one problem addressed. So I filled up the car, $78, and needed to send photos and explain again for the fort time about just the fuel issue. Let alone the uncontrolled reservation system. The thing that really pisses me off is the totally Un-sympathetic conversations ant the total lack of ownership your company placed upon me, the innocent customer. The Franchisee needs to have his chain yanked and brought into line. He’s the same person who has the Budget Franchise. Piss poor customer service on both your company and his Franchise.

Service was extremely fast and professional. Recieved car keys within 2 minutes of arrival at counter and car was waiting right outside the door.

Clancy, Lesley and everyone else in this location are rock stars! They make it happen with limited resources. I was reading all the reviews and people complain about all kinds of stupid things. Most of the complaints had nothing to do with the location. These guys have great service, awesome prices and top notch vehicles. I would rate them 10 stars if I could. Thank you!

The avis in Santa Maria is top notch, I would give them 5 stars. However, the corporate office is fraudulent. They try and charge ridiculous fees and boost prices on top of what was quoted. They also will not tell you if or how much prices change if there is a modification to your reservation.

Mr. Clancy and his group are amazing. With the type of traveling I have to do for work, he and his associates make car rental easy. No better place to rent from on the central coast! Definitely recommend coming tot he Santa Maria airport location. It's free overnight parking, great service, and always a good variety of vehicles to select from.

I rented an SUV for 5 people on 8/26/22 with Avis to start they sent me in search of a white Chevrolet Equinox that was not where they told me it was parked, I had to go back to the counter where they told me it was elsewhere 20 minutes lost.When I finally found the car I started my trip because I was running late , that's when I realized how dirty the car was, more inside than outside, the back seats were full of potato crumbs and apparently cookie crumbs, the windows were dirty and some sticky, the dashboard looked like they tried to clean it but what they used it looked like is was dirty too cause when the liquid they used dried looks bad.I had to take it to a car washes and cleaned because it even had a bad smell.Then I went back to the freeway and a light came on that said “ Change the engine oil soon” and I have photos to prove it.I don't know much about cars but a car with 7500 miles shouldn't have those kinds of problems so for me the maintenance is not being done regularly.For all this I give it only 3 stars because I am aware that these are things that can be 100% better.

Clansy and his team is absolutely amazing and make sure each customer feels valued. All the vehicles I have rented so far were in good condition and very clean inside and out. They always ensure we have everything before we leave for our adventures.

This was my first experience with Avis. I was prompted through AARP. Received an upgrade due to vehicle requested was not available. Staff was apologetic and very nice. The interior of car was fairly clean however inside windshield was not in good shape, lots of streaks and looked dirty. Service was great all questions were answered. Overall I would use Avis again very pleased with the experience.
