Least compassionate office I've ever been to. Totally unrelated to the service, but I walked in late, apologized and said, "I'm sorry, I'm having the worst day of my life. My infant was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and I was so distraught, I got in a car accident on my way home to get my dog for this appointment. I do understand if we need to reschedule; I didn't get him out of the car in case you turn us away." The response? Receptionist looks me dead in the eyes and says, "Not only will we have to reschedule because you are 5 minutes out of the grace period, but we also need to collect a deposit." WHAT COMPASSION. I'm sorry I was late. It's not about the money, it's the attitude she had with someone having an extremely difficult day. Wouldn't want these people caring for my pets.

The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They all were extremely compassionate and comforting as we were dealing with a tough decision in saying goodbye to our beloved little family member.

This clinic is the only place who has been able to handle my elderly, high stressed/traumatized(?) shelter dog. My grandpa-dog has been turned away from multiple places because of his temper. This clinic handled him wonderfully and never showed frustration or irritation. They also got us in very quick. Very appreciative of them.

I will "NEVER" return to the Animal Clinic of Santa Maria, after my last few visits for my cat Modini. I will be taking Modini to the "Humane Society" for all further medical issues or vaccines because they have treated him and myself with nothing but compassion even when I had no money to pay for the care given. They gave Modini a simple Antibiotic shot that relieved his pain, asking for only a mire donation. When I asked the ACSM for that type of shot you only offered a medication that was highly over priced and way out of my budget with no compassion or concern what so ever for the pain Modini has suffered. YOUR CLINIC IS MUCH TOO "GREADY" TO BE THAT COMPASSIONATE NO THANK YOU FOR THAT KIND OF SERVICE Mary O.
