So sorry to see so many negative reviews of this particular store. I live across the street and have been coming here since 2016. I now admit that I should've written a review long ago. Although I may have had some uneven experiences in that long past I have to stand up for the current crew and say they've always been respectful and acted with genuine concern and a sense of urgency to get each and every customer served and out of the store quickly and with all due courtesy. In fact I witnessed a difficult customer disrespecting them tonight but witnessed that they responded with kindness. efficiency and tolerance. Much more than she deserved and much more than I would've given such a loud and disagreeable person in any encounter. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with the many visits I've paid to this store in all my years of going there. The purposefully pleasant customer service provided in the face of the horrid manners faced by the employees tonight prompted me to write this review. I only wish I had taken a minute to tell the world about the good experiences I've always had here in the past before now. Kudos to the crew of my 7-Eleven on Stowell.

With all the pleasant experiences in the Santa Maria area, our visits to this 7-Eleven location was not one of them. They had music of some sort blaring on the outside. I'm guessing that's to keep people from loitering. We visited this location, out of convenience, about 5 times during 8 days in Santa Maria and not once, was a clerk pleasant. Even when we went out of 'our' way to wish them a good day. Their responses were basically grunts. I know this is a convenience store and you can't really expect much, but c'mon! Do you hate life so bad that you treat everyone like crap. People that are keeping you employed? We'll find another location on our next trip.
