“A great little market we usually stop by when we need a few veggies to finish using what we've got in the fridge, or to grab some drinks from their great variety of soft drinks, beer, and wine. I always end up spotting hot sauces, canned goods, or a fresh sandwich I want to grab too. If you're local to the area they offer a lot of pantry staples and condiments at prices not much more than a grocery store. The prices on other things can be a little higher but it's so nice to have it around the corner along with everything else the store offers. Lots of vegan and vegetarian products as well! More than your average store, come try something new or grab that missing pasta or sauce you need to complete your recipe.”

“Your quintessential Asian food market in SLO. Has a wide variety of foods including meats, fish, shellfish, produce and frozen vegetables. Also a very large selection of packaged noodles, canned goods, dry goods, confectionery and beverages. I particularly like their wide variety of beer, shoshu, and sake. Some anime-inspired toys as well. Some cooking utensils and pottery including bowls, plates and chopsticks. Whether you seek Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese, or pilipino products, and spices and dashi, they probably have it or something close to it. Support them often as you can otherwise as it’s three hours north or south to anything similar and fresh.”

“The Creston House is a warm and welcoming oasis. It is the hub of the larger ranching and farming community surrounding Creston. There is seating outside where you can relax and watch the world go by. I ordered a plain cheese pizza, which was quite tasty, cooked to perfection, and had the correct ratio of crust to sauce to cheese. While I waited for my pizza, I enjoyed a few scoops of vanilla ice cream soaked in espresso - an "affogato"? "Arrogato"? I'm not sure, but it's amazing. The Creston House is bicycle friendly, and they prefer cash.”

“The meat department looks so much better than it has in the past! I was shocked to see how organized and clean it is! The girl stocking the meat was very helpful! I will definitely be returning!”

“The remodeling is nice but it seems more aisles are now in the same floor space. Feels cramped. I also regret seeing that they no longer have a section dedicated to local products. The local products they still carry, fewer than before, are now dispersed throughout the store. All in all, though, it’s a better option than the other big box grocery stores.”

“This place has a great stock of products and overall is just super convenient. My favorite parts of this store are the selection of desserts, the selection of fancy breads, and the hot bar. Whenever I come here my next meal winds up being very convenient and decadent. They also have a good selection of healthy foods which means I get to try something new.”

“This location is always well-stocked with a wide variety of options. I feel that their prices are a little high for weekly shopping, however, I like to come here about once a month to buy some new products to try. They are busy but the cashiers are very fast-paced.”

“I think the checker who helped me out was Anor or Anouor? I think her name tag had Farsi on it. Anyway, she did a great job checking me out and I would totally wait in a longer line to be in her line next time. Way to go A! She really went above and beyond for me.”

“Actually became familiar with this store during the Covid shut-down, because they did a good job at keeping products on the shelves.Their produce section is pretty good and the prices are competitive. They also have a great frozen food selection here too. There are some good local wines in there wine area to choose from. They have a pretty good bakery selection too. All in all a great store to shop at.”

“Just stopped in for some caffeine and ended up with an iced Americano and chai latte from Whole Foods' cafe. My barista husband gave their Americano 4.5 stars and I'd say the same about their chai, which actually tasted more like the spices than the sweetener or milk (as it should).”

“Spacious store. The meat dept person, Erik, was super helpful behind the meat counter. The cashier at the checkout counter was very efficient and friendly, rang everything up correctly!”
