I placed an order for some fittings and when they arrived they were not what I wanted. I made contact with McMaster-Carr and said no problem just send it back and there was no restocking fee. I was very thankful since it was 70$ for two parts so wasn’t looking to loose that. Thank you!! My only complaint is when I called I told them I was looking for something for my transmission cooler lines and when I received the parts they didn’t even go thru so the transmission fluid would not flow through.

They are 5 star...The ratings don't reflect the current state of the business. McMaster Carr is a great company from the consumer point of view. The value is accurate given the ease of selection, wide variety, fast shipping (I'm in PDX), great customer service and quality parts. The price is a little on the high side but I'll pay it every time since this is a one stop shop with a robust back-end. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and I'm no stranger to details and have spent maybe $50k with them over my career, worth every penny. This company represents the backbone of the true American industry. Can't wait to see how they continue to solidify their position as one of the best companies in America.

This review is for the middle aged brown hair lady who is like talking to a brick wall. If she doesn't like that you want to say anything more than hello, she knows what not to do, so you won't get your return. Just be careful not to deal with her and to ask for someone else; and worst case, document with video your returns. She may refuse your packing slip, so the hard workers in the back don't get you the return. I'll update this review when I go back to get her name. Customer service over the phone is great, and I do appreciate their patience and attitudes. I'm sure there's plenty of other nice representatives at this location, I've just been unfortunate to have to deal with this lady multiple occasions.

The availability and quality of parts is always impressive! My last-minute orders have consistently arrived the next day. They really go above and beyond with customer service too - my questions have been answered quickly over the phone. Highly recommend.

I've been dealing with Mc Master for over 30 years. I am here to say this company goes , far and beyond in service, I worked for a major manufacturer in field service, and 4 years ago, I started on my own, I was working on a job 200 miles away and order some parts, they arrived the next day like promised, but one of 3ft lengths of all thread had the wrong thread pitch, I called they gladly emailed me a return label and placed a order for the correct one to be delivered the next day, The next day came I checked on the status and it was shipped but UPS said it was going to be delayed another day, Which I had a strict time frame to repair this piece of equipment and I was already running behind. And I was in the middle of nowhere, so I couldn't get from anyplace else. I called McMaster, and they couldn't tell me why there was a delay but said they would see what they could do, I received a call stating they were shipping another piece out on a separate courier and I would have it in 4hrs I spoke with them a 4 to 4.30pm the part arrived at 9pm, and I was able to complete the repair on time. This is SERVICE, and you will never get it from their competitor. They have always had what I need, and if they don't, they outsource and get it, Thank you to all the customer service personnel at McMaster Carr
