Henry, the owner, has the most well curated variety and quality stones, crystal and rocks in unpolished, polished form or figurines and jewelry settings. There is so much available! And Henry knows so much about them all. Such a friendly, amicable and welcoming person. We make it a point to always visit Henry’s shop whenever we go to Santa Cruz. Very highly recommend a visit. ?

I encourage everyone to please support local businesses this Christmas and buy gifts for loved ones from Henry's shop. I will be buying everyone's gifts from him this year because during this economic time it's so important to think about where your hard earned money goes and who it benefits. Henry told me today he's been at this location for 10 years and I would hate to see another business close down in our community because of capitalism, like the insane rent cost in downtown. I look forward to each visit to his shop and he has been unable to be open as often because of personal reasons.
I have bought thousands of dollars worth of crystals and been to stores all over the place but this is my favorite place of all. Henry is so kind and will go over the crystal identifications with you and offer you little papers describing the healing properties of each one. I am so happy everytime I come here.
I would like to address the negative reviews I've read by sharing my own experiences in his shop.
While it may seem unusual to not have prices on everything such as those in the bins. It is because those are priced by weight and I actually prefer this method over charging a set price for the range of sizes. If you are on a budget choose the smaller sizes. He calculates everything in front of you so he is not just "making things up".
So if you see more rare or expensive crystals choose the smaller weighted ones so you can still have it in your collection for not as expensive of a price.
Also regarding his comments on please do not touch crystals on shelves etc. It is posted in large font everywhere in the store. It is not fair of you to be upset for him enforcing these rules when he is constantly robbed of his livelihood. I have seen adults and children all disregard his requests and claim they didn't know while I was shopping. While I understand children may not all be able to read or understand this it is an adults responsibility to teach a child to respect others possessions.
He is willing to show you items on shelves with his assistance. When the store is busier I'm sure he is more worried about theft and it is reasonable for him to remind people of the posted signs if people are getting their hands too close to such expensive crystals.
I appreciate you so much for for the kind service the past 3 years I have visited your shop Henry. I treasure all the crystals I have bought from you. I hope I can continue to buy from you for many more years to come.

I Miss this place, and I miss Henry - the owner. So generous, kind, and knowledgeable. I learned a lot just by shopping. He loves what he does and it shows. I moved away so I don't get to visit anymore, and this is my #1 recommendation for crystals in the area, hands down.

The only reason I don't put this review at 5 stars is because the shop has been closed the past several times I drove out to Santa Cruz. Such a bummer because I LOVE this shop! Found several hard-to-find high quality pieces and love to hear him talk about the big pieces he has on the wall behind the counter. He's definitely a character (for goodness' sake, it's Santa Cruz! residents are supposed to be weird), but if you treat him and the shop with respect, he sees that and you get nothing but respect from him. Prices are decent. The beads tend to be higher-end and priced accordingly. This is a wonderful shop and the first stop I have everytime I spend the day in Santa Cruz.

It’s a wonderful store! I loved how everything is sorted and the energy inside is very good. Huge collection of crystals and stones. I wanted one for my birth month but ended up with 4! Will definitely go back.

Came in with my dad and his box of rocks. The owner took qaulity time with us and gave him a fair price for dads treasures. Thank you for a fun experience in your store. Dad 96 yrs old is looking forward to going back soon.

First time in this place. Henry, the owner has a superb customer service skills. He allows you to browse the store without looking at you like a hawk, but he'll ask you first if you're looking for something in particular and shows you what he has in store and let's you decide. The store has many varieties of crystals and even crystals that I have not seen elsewhere. The prices are reasonable as well. He has a wall full of information about crystals behind the register. I would definitely come back and recommend the store to those who are looking for crystals. I live an hour plus from this store, but it's definitely worth of the trip. Thanks Henry! Nice chat with you at the store and thanks for assisting me with the crystals that I bought.

Joke: "Do not touch the crystals" ha. This is a very unique shop and give the owner a break anyone expecting Ritz-Carlton service. See what you like and ask if you touch. Ask for pricing and surely he can provide. A lot is sold on weight which with a small shop with 1,000s of unique items and inflation I do not think is totally off.Anyhow, what a selection!Operating a business in downtown Santa Cruz is tough and easy to get jaded (no pun intended) on people disrupting displays, stealing, and breaking things unfortunately.May respect and patience be returned in like-kind. Owning a small shop is tough. It is not metaphysical. Or is it?
