I have previously had a terrible experience at this Wells Fargo on Soquel Ave in Santa Cruz, and with Wells Fargo in general, but today added the icing. While waiting in line, the customer ahead of me was talking about an encounter with a Police Officer. The Clerk at the counter who was assisting her, stated loudly enough for me and everyone else to hear that, "cops are a-holes and it's the end of the month so he had to fill his quota".When it was my turn, I told him that I personally knew an Officer, and that what he said was not true. He smugly stated, "Well, it might be true".I will NEVER step foot in a Wells Fargo again.

I see Wells is still up to there janky tricks which Is why i left 3 years ago. I went in today to cash a check given to me by one of their customers & without even telling me, the teller tried to hand me a less amount so i begin thinking he cant count by far..Finally the teller decides after wasting my time with my 2 id's & computer stuff that Wells wants to keep $7.50 of my money smh..ok so clearly hidden fees are something u are still not upfront honest about smh

Are there plans to reopen this branch? it's been closed since covid19 started. The Capitola branch often has a line coming outside the door and wrapping around the building. Also ...it doesn't seem like anyone has come to building, given all of the delivery notices on the door.

Do NOT use Wells Fargo! I was hacked at their ATM and it has been an absolute unending battle trying to close my accounts and credit card. Calling Wells Fargo Corporate? Just give up. I don't believe any actual humans are employed. There's lots of places to help you bank, this is Not one of them.

Has anyone tried to get help on their automated line? I am trying to inquire about a secure credit line against a home and after 30 minutes of pressing here, "say this", "do that" over the phone it told me that they couldn't process my call to call back!!!! I've tried this 5 times just today trying different ways because unfortunately the local branch can't help me. As a long time customer of Wells Fargo (30 years with them) I've paid so many fees and endured so much their lack of care of customer satisfaction that I honestly wonder if they care anymore. If you are looking for aggravation and willing to pay to get it, this is the right bank!!

The worst service I have ever received anywhere in my life. They were rude comment probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life. I would never recommend Wells Fargo or any establishment to my worst enemy. Horrible place bad bad bad service

They sent a money order that my tenant gave me for rent back saying it was counterfeit6, which it wasn't. Then they froze all funds in my account, charged me returned item fees, I had to wait 30 days for money order to be reissued from western union. Wells Fargo closed my account in that time, still demanding returned item feea when the real problem lies in their mobile deposit system. Since, this occurred, Ive spoken with several others who have had similar experiences there.

I found my experience here to be awesome! I think my teller was also named Bappa who actually does smile and is very friendly. I am happy with my service at Wells Fargo and love all the sweet people here.

This branch has horrible customer service. I was wrongfully charged a $35 overdraft fee to my checking account. I went inside the branch to try and have it straightened out, but that was futile. Instead of helping me, the employee across the counter chose to argue with me, belittling and patronizing me in the process. After accomplishing nothing but getting upset, I chose to leave. I ended up having to go to the branch on 41st during my lunch (which made me late), but it was worth it. Unlike Soquel, the 41st branch treated me with respect and were ever so helpful. The mistake was cleared up within a few minutes and I was happily on my way. The moral of the story? I would rather stand in line at 41st than deal with these assholes.

I have been a customer for more than 12 years and have had mostly pleasant interactions with the CS bankers. I went to cash my money order (which is cash really, it is not a check, someone pays cash for them so to hold one like a check is not right). and found myself getting a strange vibes from the Girls working, it felt really clicky and judgemental...for what Im not sure? I felt like cashing my MO was a huge deal to them and they wanted to hold it til tuesday. I have cashed them before in another branch and I also called corp. who also said it should be cashed on hand because it is a bought MO. Maria Ruiz-Gonzalez Service Manager & second in line, was so Rude and not Customer Service Orientated at all, in fact she was visibly and verbally Rude! She shoved the MO back to me and told me to go to a different branch, all the while her staff is just glaring dirty looks. I am calling Corporate and did go to another branch where they DID cash my MO. See, You are wrong and rude and what comes around goes around! These People should be trained in being Nice People....they have No idea what that is. I just think it is so strange how they try to block you from your own money .

I have been at Wells Fargo for 3 years and have always been treated very polite by the customer service there UNTIL I met up with one teller @ the Soquel Dr branch named Bappa. On several different occasions this teller who forgets that he is working in customer service gave me attitude. Very RUDE and I just want you all to know that if you too encounter this you can be treated with respect by the polite people at the 41st Ave (or any other branch) and walk out with a smile. UGH!

That's nothing. I went in to take money out of an account, and the woman hemmed and hawed, asked for my ID twice--made phone calls in front of me, saying, "She's sitting right here." When I asked what's going on? she said there was a hold on my account. I went to my regular branch, and it turned out that when I'd taken money out the previous time--they reported me as DEAD. They never apologized in any way either.

The MOST disrespectful absolutely rude branch. One of their representatives went as far as to roll her eyes and grunt at customers!! DO NOT use this branch!
