I was told by one of the bank's employees that the reason they were currently understaffed was a result of an "incident" at the bank that caused a number of employees to leave. Since I was considering opening an account there (the Morrissey branch), this caused me to reconsider. Anyone know anything about this so-called incident?

So my review is based solely on my experience with the ATM. The staff and the service are usually pretty good. I had a couple of hundred dollars in cash to deposit on a Sunday evening, before Labor Day. I could have kept the cash, but thought it would be best to deposit it and keep it safe. The ATM machine takes naked bills (without an envelope) and encourages you to deposit the whole wad, which I did. The ATM swallowed the whole amount, and then said, "MALFUNCTION". That message was followed by another that said, "Sorry, we're having difficulty returning your items to you." WHAT??? The ATM swallowed my cash and then couldn't return it?? I called customer service and they told me that I probably wouldn't get my cash back until after an Investigation for at least a few days! I couldn't believe it! SERIOUSLY? The guys at the bank stammered through a lame excuse over the phone. Customer service did their best empathizing, which I could care less for. I wanted my money back! So it's been a few days and I still haven't seen it. There was some talk about the system correcting itself (which one rep told me was basically a physical person counting out the money out the ATM and applying it to my account), but that hasn't happened. I am so angry with the bank right now. I am seriously considering taking my accounts elsewhere.

They don't treat their customers very well. I had a friend who had an emergency I tried to help her out by making a deposit. I was told the amount of cash wasn't acceptable so I went and got a cashier's check and came back...7 day hold??? Really??

I love banking at this branch! All of the tellers know me by face and name (without having to look me up in the computer) and are always going above and beyond. They are friendly, fast and efficient and they are always smiling. Thanks you guys!

This branch has a very knowledgeable and frriendly staff. It's always a pleasure to do business with them, plus we love the hours. No such thing as "bankers hours" anymore.
