I’ve been coming to this shop for a few years, they are a terrific family business. They take great care of my Lexus Hybrid. I feel like they are always honest and never oversell. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars and I normally don’t give reviews.

I took my car to Santa Cruz Motorsports on Cedar Street for a Smog Check. I had a very good experience; they were prompt and polite and had the smog check done while I waited. The price was right, and the office where I waited was a clean and comfortable place. I would go there again.

My recent experience with Santa Cruz Motorsports has completely redefined my expectations for automotive service. After years of encountering underwhelming, and at times, questionable practices at dealerships, I'm thrilled to shine a light on this exceptional local business.
The contrast between this business and the impersonal, profit-driven approach of some dealerships is stark. In stark contrast to the common laundry list of unnecessary repairs often presented at dealerships, Santa Cruz Motorsports' focus lies solely on identifying and addressing genuine mechanical needs. This was evident in my not too long ago interaction, where an issue with headlight condensation arose during the rainy season.
The local Toyota dealership, unfortunately, bless their greedy little hearts, quoted me $800-$1,000 to replace the entire headlight assembly because of some condensation issues. Such a recommendation without exploring alternative solutions left me feeling frustrated and skeptical of their recommendations
Thankfully, I discovered this business through a quick google search. Their meticulous diagnosis revealed the problem to be a minor seal leak, a far cry from the dealership's dire prognosis. With transparent communication and meticulous attention to detail, they rectified the issue effectively and efficiently. Six months later, my headlights still perform flawlessly, a testament to the quality of their work.
Beyond technical expertise, I was highly impressed by their professionalism and genuine customer care. Their friendly team (esp. Emily) communicates clearly, answers questions readily, and prioritizes client trust over hasty upselling. This creates a comfortable and reliable environment, a refreshing change from the pressure-cooker atmosphere often found at dealerships.
For any car owner seeking competent, trustworthy, and cost-effective service, I wholeheartedly recommend this local family owned business. Their commitment to integrity and quality repair far surpasses the industry standard. If you've been disillusioned by your dealership experiences, give them a chance. They'll restore your faith in the automotive service industry.

Very appreciative of this business! I have been taking my vehicles to SC Motorsports for years and have always been impressed with their timeliness in completing the work. The staff is very friendly and has excellent communication skills; they do a great job staying in touch throughout the process of a repair, from diagnostic to resolution.
