How should I start:1. It took a long time for the girl to call me, and I had an appointment. I had to wait for at least 20 min in the waiting room.2. When I got in the room, she looked at my exams and started laughing. I didn't understand why, and she laughed and said the system shouldn't allow me to book so many tests simultaneously. And she kept laughing like something was hilarious. I think the lady was nervous. I don't know.3. When she was taking my blood, I started to feel bad, and I was about to faint. I asked her to stop. She didn't even help me. She stopped and went to the computer to do something, and I had to ask her if I could lie on the floor because I was about to faint. She didn't ask if I was okay.4. At the end she said I would have to return another day to finish the exams. I went to another place to take the test, and when I got there, I had to do it all over again because she didn't process my tests.I felt disrespected there with all the laughing, and it was very unprofessional of her not to help me when I was feeling bad.

I stopped in this morning to drop off a sample and was one of the first people in the clinic. I checked in at the qiosk, and waited 45 min for someone to come out of the back, during this time there was no one being seen (the prompts on their Tv let’s you know who’s in front of you) so I’m not sure why It took so long in the first place. When the nurse finally came out I then told her I just needed to drop off a specimen, and she replied “you’ll have to wait I’m waiting for my appointments to come in” this confused me because there was only one other person in the waiting area by this time and I had checked in.. i then said I could just leave it on the counter if it was easier and she said “you do that and I’ll just throw it in the trash” I was confused by her being really mean to me and the horrible attitude she was giving me so I walked out and went to the quest in Scott’s valley instead, and received amazing support at the other location

Quest Diagnostics is the absolutely worst lab work company with whom to make an appointment. You call in and are routed through endless automated options that get you nowhere and ultimately tell you to go to the website. You go to the website and you can't complete registering for an appointment unless you upload your doctor's lab order. Of course, you don't have the lab order because your doctor's office sent them the lab order electronically. Then, you go to the Quest Diagnostics office to make an appointment and they don't take appointments at the office! QUEST IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST TO DEAL WITH. I have asked my doctor's office never to assign me to Quest again. Quest Diagnostics is administratively incompetent!

Katie was very kind, efficient, and professional. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and she made the blood testing experience (nearly) painless. :)

Complete waste of an hour. I had an 11:00 appointment for a blood draw. I arrived at 10:55, completed my covid questions and on-line check in per the texts I had received from Quest and entered the waiting room as instructed by the on-line Quest site. My first clue that this place had some professionalism issues was the cardboard boxes stacked around the little waiting room and the "out of service" sign on the check-in station. I sat down and waited for 33 minutes while eight other people entered the waiting room and were seen by the single employee working there. I finally approached the employee and told her that I had an 11:00 appointment. She apologized and told me she thought I was waiting for a Safeway shopper. WTH? I had an appointment. She then asked if I had checked in at the pharmacy. I told her I had not and showed her my on-line instructions which directed me to enter the site and wait to be called. The employee told me that the pharmacist was running blood draws and that I had to check in with the pharmacy and get a form. I then stood in line for the pharmacy. When my turn finally came, I told the pharmacy staff member that I was checking in for Quest and that I needed a form to get a blood draw. The employee gave me side-eye and told me that they did not do blood draws. She had no idea what I was talking about. At this point there were four people in line behind me. I went back to the Quest office to find it empty. There was no one there. It was now 11:50 and I had wasted almost an entire hour at this clown show. Quest is the preferred lab for my insurance but I drove to the hospital lab and was seen within five minutes of my check in. Lesson learned. Quest: never again.

They were nice enough to send a text canceling my appointment the night before. After taking the time off work and fasting I wasn't too happy with them. I was informed after going to another location to try and get a walk in appointment that it could be hours more. This outfit needs to get their act together!!

I needed to get a blood test and so I went to the place I am most familiar with. Quest Diagnostics has always been a lab that I could trust and is recommended by my doctor. Today I went to the location off Mission Blvd. in Santa Cruz Ca. that is at the back of a Safeway. I was very surprised at how professionally set up it was and how everything in the office was so clean. I was greeted with a friendly smile by Pricilla who was going to be my Lab Technician. I was a walk in so I was very happy to hear that she had room for me. She was kind, knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I always wonder when I get my blood drawn what degree of pain I am going to have to endure. I am happy to say that Precilla is so talented that I didn't feel a thing. I wish I had a choice when I have my blood drawn because if I did I would choose Precilla every time. She is the best!

This location is super understaffed and has been for years. Don’t ever do walk in here or you will wait for at least 45 minutes. Go across town to the one by the hospital and it will be faster. They have more chairs and the patient care staff aren’t splitting their time with unloading boxes and admin tasks. The staff here are courteous at least.

Where do I even start?1. I did not feel that I had privacy while getting tested. The provider left the door open while we reviewed my sexual history and std testing options.2. My provider continued to say things like, “I don’t know what’s going on here” and “I’m so confused” when looking at my Doctor ordered labs3. My provider neglected to tell me that they don’t do testing for trich, even though I had already ordered and paid for it.4. My provider neglected to test me for chlamydia.5. My provider neglected to give me directions for how much pee should go in a test cup.6. I never received my test results by email, phone, or myquest account.7. When calling the quest diagnostics phone line, I was redirected over 5 times before they told me that they had lost my results and were going to call back later.8. I could not get a hold of the quest mission clinic by phone at all throughout this process.9. At this point it has already been two weeks since I had been tested and still could not get a hold of anyone to review the missing test results. Waiting this long for results is very dangerous for someone with an std and could cause permanent reproductive damage.10. I was eventually contacted by a woman who told me that quest diagnostics had not sent in the tests for chlamydia or trich and that they could get a new trich test sent to the quest clinic but that I would have to reach out to quest to get a chlamydia test ordered.11. I went in person to quest again and the provider I spoke with told me that they don’t do trich tests at that location and that she could not give me a refund for the chlamydia test that I originally ordered. She also told me that there was no one who works at that location who resembles the man who was my original provider. She was not understanding of my unique circumstance and was not willing to work with me. So I basically paid for a test that was useless and wasted two weeks of precious time. It was also very time consuming having to call their phone line so many times and wait for an hour at a time.Overall very complicated, not helpful, not professional

I'm sitting here in an empty waiting room, they're making me wait for another 30 minutes, very annoying

Was told to walk in, only to find that you have to make an appointment when walking in. Very annoying. Made an appointment for later in the day and the phlebotomist couldn’t draw my blood after two attempts (which I’ve never had a problem with). Had to drive 20 min to another location now to just sit and wait again for someone else to try on my other arm.

The phone number exists just to waste your time. It goes on for 40 years before even telling you what your options are and making an appointment or talking to a human is impossible. I hope whoever recorded that entire message has a horrible day.

Ugh, just terrible service. Their telephone answering menu was atrocious, I wasn’t able to talk to a human, and it just said to come in and not make an appointment. I drive to the location, I sit around for 10 minutes before anyone even knew I was there in the waiting room, and then they said I needed to make an appointment for the next day. Zero customer service here.
