Wanting to freshen up our front entryway I went to San Lorenzo Doors & Windows with measurements for hardware for the front door handle. After looking for a salesperson to help me for 10 minutes I found one & showed him the measurements for the hardware and the handle set I wanted. He told me that the one I wanted would not work with the measurements I gave and he directed me to another wall. When I found what I wanted on the wall he showed me the salesman wrote up the order and told me it would take two weeks to arrive. Two weeks later I got the handle set and gave it to the carpenter on the project (who had done the measurements). He let me know that the handle set was not the correct measurement for my door. I took the set back to San Lorenzo where two salesmen up at front insisted that the set was the "standard" door measurement and it was not returnable. I went home and reread the receipt on the back which said that returns were permitted with a 25%! restocking fee. My husband then went to talk to the manager and she said that I had signed a paper stating that the set was not returnable. But she could not find the paper. Very poor customer service! This was not a set especially made for my door so the return should have been seamless. We are just beginning to update & replace interior & exterior doors and I will not be using San Lorenzo Doors and Windows.

I felt a bit awkward not being a contractor and not knowing the way things worked here. But I eventually found someone to help me and they sent me home with a handful of catalogs to pick a new door. It arrived quickly and was just what I wanted. They had a huuuuuge selection of catalogs and I could have been easily overwhelmed with options without the salesperson directing me to my best options.

I ordered 6 new interior doors and they called a week later to say the doors were ready. I had workers lined up to pick them up and install them. Not only were the doors NOT ready, the order was completely messed up. Not once or twice but after numerous attempts to get it right they didn't. I'm now stuck with interior doors with deadbolt holes (which I did NOT order) and many extra hours of labor that I shouldn't have had to pay. NEVER AGAIN!

I work with Jen at San Larenzo Lumber lumber and Home Center. We bought all of our doors direct from them. We're not a large company just homeowners doing a remodel, But the way we are treated when we walk in The door, you would think we are their biggest customer. We have purchase several doors over the last three years and every time Jen has been so prompt, professional, polite, courteous, Customer oriented, and knowledgeable. And that goes for the Guys in the back where I actually pick up the doors. After a serious car accident in March of 2017 I i'm sometimes struggle with some basic physical task but they always help me load my truck, make sure the doors are wrapped in cardboard, and help me strap things down. I just want to say Thank you for all of your great service. Ron.

Bryon greeted us immediately when we entered the store. He showed us three different doors in the warehouse, answered all of my questions about how to re-install the new door, and told me if we bring in the old door by 10 am, the replacement door will be ready in the afternoon. Next day, we brought in the old door at 8 am; the replacement door was ready by 11:30 am. The carpenter helped me unload the old door, and later load the new door ... carefully. The cut-outs fit nicely to the old door hinges. The matching keyed door knob and dead bolt lock were ready at pick up. Bryon, appreciate your thoughtful customer service.

Terrible service. Upon entering the store you are ignored and treated like you do not exist. Trying to find someone to help you or even make eye contact is difficult. Once you do ask someone to help you they act like you are a pain and they are inconvenienced by your existence. Ordered several doors (contractors request) through them and based on service alone I will not be back. The blond lady at the front desk was rude and Not at all personable. Her customer service skills are severely lacking. I saw her roll her eyes and be rude to the guest in front of me who was just asking simple questions about his order.

I have been a customer of San Lorenzo Door for 25 years. I deal exclusively with David Tarver. He is simply the best employee they have in sales. I also have had good success with Luis in the shop... after that your on your own. I walked into the sales area of the door shop and 5 people behind desks looked up and did not move ever. I finally left after 15 minutes with no one even acknowledging me and I'm a contractor that they know... I would like to say that this was unusual but this is standard for this operation.
