Management went above and beyond to get me a refund when I had accidentally double booked two units. Really proactive and really friendly. Seriously the best storage management in Santa Cruz and the best storage facility as well. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to share my experience with Pacific Coast Self Storage. Overall, pretty solid place to store your things.
Manager was friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. When I had trouble figuring out what size unit I needed, she walked me through my options without any pressure.
The place is clean, and the security seems good. I was a bit worried after reading some past comments, but it looks like they've made some positive changes since those 10-year-old reviews.
One thing I really appreciated was how smooth the move-in process was. The paperwork was straightforward, and they even had a little cart available, which made moving my stuff easier.
Price-wise, it's competitive. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. And here, you're paying for a decent, well-run facility.
If you're looking for a no-drama, reliable storage spot, Pacific Coast is a good bet. Shoutout to Angie for making my experience a positive one.

It is very hard to get in touch with anybody here, both in person and on the phone. Rent has increased multiple times with no notice (my family checked for missed calls, voicemails, letters, emails, etc and nothing was ever sent). The storage facility has not been updated so there is no improvement in security or insulation. I definitely do not recommend this facility and am looking into vacating my unit. Hope this helps someone.

So far my experience has been great! Reserving the unit online was easy and there was a good variety in sizes to choose from. I thought the different discounts were reasonable and the size of the unit is perfect! Angie was in the office when I checked in and she is a delight! Very personable and friendly customer service. Couldn't ask for more from a storage facility really. Good job so far!
