The manager, I believe his name is Javier, is a gentleman. Their workers are a mix of friendly and just doing their job, but when one of them miscommunicated a warranty policy on a battery, Javier made it right.Glad to have these guys, but and gave 5 stars because of the made up mistake, but anyone who buys a battery here should know that once the battery is used even once they will NOT exchange it for a different size. That's their policy, you should know because it won't necessarily be explained that way.Cheers.

Really disappointed in this O’Reilly. I’ve been a longtime O’Reilly fan, and assumed they had consistent service everywhere you go.My wife needed new brake pads and rotors (first time I’ve ever done a brake job on a BMW), and we went in to order them a month ago. We went ahead and paid for them upfront, so that it would be easy to pick them up when we heard they were in (I shouldn’t’ve done that… probably ever.)We were told we would receive a text or call when our order came in. We didn’t. I called a week later, and they told me the pads I ordered had come in, but they sold them to someone else, so they had to reorder them.Again, I never received a notification that my order was ready, but I decided to call again a few days later, and sure enough the order was in. (Not sure when they ever planned to let me know.)When I went in, they brought a stack of rotors and pads out to the counter, and I asked if the brake sensor was amongst the pile. The guy said, “oh yeah” and went back to the back for it.When he came back I asked if the brake pads box had both the front and rear brake pads in it. He said, “yes.”I just trusted him, but I guess I shouldn’t have. I should probably know better.I wasn’t able to do the brake job immediately, so I put the stack in my garage for a couple of weeks, until I could get a weekend free to do it. When I finally opened the box with the brake pads in it, there were only two pair for the rear.So I called this O’Reilly to tell them I never received the front brakes, and they told me it had been over a month since I made the purchase, and that I should’ve told them on the day I took the rest of the order home. The guy said he had no way of knowing I wasn’t lying to rip them off (he actually said, “you could’ve sold them; we don’t know.”So instead they ripped me off; I paid for front brake pads ($60) that I never received. And I was accused of being a liar.You’d think they could look at my purchase history, to see if I’ve EVER done anything like that before.Terrible way to treat a customer.I might not ever shop at an O’Reilly again.For you reading this, definitely don’t pay for anything you’re going to pick up later. I recognize I could’ve avoided this, if I had been a little smarter about it. But I think it is a wicked thing to take advantage of someone who trusts you.

On the plus side, hassle-free return. On the minus, paid $95 for a $20 part that was broken.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to Clemente. I stopped in tonight after discovering a screw in my tire. I knew my car didn't have a spare but discovered it also didn't have a jack OR socket. I had planned on just removing the wheel/tire and taking it to be repaired. Clemente got me exactly what I needed and even pointed out that one of the jack's they offered probably wouldn't fit under my low car. In my annoyed state I wouldn't have thought of that so I'm very thankful he mentioned it. He also showed me options that would save me some money (even though I decided not to go that route). Clemente was very helpful, efficient and kind.

Tonight after about five or ten minutes looking for a banjo bolt and withiout luck picked out another item that will work. Then proceeded towards the grease and containers when I was approached with intimidation But a not so genterleman askihg if he can help me find anything I reply banjo bolts? He repeaters with anger in vie voice andbkouder can I help you find anythihg. Yes , banjonbolts, do you and he cut me off sayihgvthe don't have any. I looked at him confused thinking is this guy jokijg. He said I was going to ask you to pay for what you have and then leave. . Cause we wanna mop,, (mind you it's only 7!and the store closes at 9.. I said sure but yabdont have to be rude about it.. then he asked me to just leave .. like that .. I cannot believe how rude this guy was Aaron hope this gets through because that was uncalled for for someone who spends a good amount of money here on a regular basis. And they close the store at 7 o'clock on a Monday and kicking somebody out process for merely shopping in a is beyond unacceptable and would hope this employee gets fired immediately. These guys must be running for the worst customer service team ever for best iid Santa Cruz .. they have my bite as the worst

So staff is knowledgeable the may not always have the part right away but they will get it for you and I like the fact that they will loan you tools if you give me your ID

Have been in this store plenty of times with no complaints. Today however was a different story. The man behind the counter, Jose, was just downright rude. Acted like everything I asked was a super big inconvenience to him. Not helpful, actually steered me towards ordering off Rock Auto instead. Take a little pride in your job buddy, or at least fake till you make it. Disappointing
