Let me start with when ever I go to mythic, there are people smoking pot right out front often & people who smell like pot in the game shop OFTEN! . None of that is an issue for me and doesn’t bother me. I brought my friend that’s getting back into magic to the shop. This said friend smelled a little like pot and the owner kicked him out of the shop after he spent almost a $100 in the store!!!! I understand an over whelming smell, but the owner(older dude in the glasses) didn’t even give him a chance to loose the smell off his clothes. My friend being the respectful guy he is, accepted what he was told and tried to shake the owners hand, saying “all right thank you for taking me to the side instead of making a scene in the game room” and attempted. To shake the owners hand. The owner would even say anything after telling him to leave or shake his hand. The level of disrespect is insane, he’s always seemed rude and short with customers in the first place! My partner is t even comfortable in the shop cause of the rude workers (kid working Thursday nights is cool) never going back! Three customers lost!!

Dieses Unternehmen hat offensichtlich keine Ahnung von Finanzplanung. Projektziele werden immer weiter rausgeschoben, das"fertige" Spiel nach 3 Jahren nicht ausgeliefert und dabei werden die Unterstützer nach mehr und mehr finanziellen Mitteln gebeten. "Preise aben sich hier erhöht", "Preise haben sich dort erhöht", "ihr bekommt das Spiel nur in Englisch, weil es günstiger wird, das Spiel so zu produzierenden und ihr bekommt ein language pack nachgeliefert" (wofür man am Ende das dritte Mal Versandkosten zahlen durfte, wenn es so weiter geht). Spiele, die im Handel sind, können vermutlich gekauft werden, aber mehr auf Kickstarter einen großen Bogen um mythic!

This is a true hidden gem in Santa Cruz. Never been and wanted to grab some cards while I was in town. They have tons of magic cards, Pokémon and yugioh. I really thought their play space was nice. Large room and tons of tables.

The store itself is nice but the owner isn't very helpful. I asked if he had gotten a new release in stock and he told me they were behind the counter and would be "going up" on Saturday. So I come back on Saturday only for him to tell me that they were already pre-ordered a long time ago and thus not for sale. I guess "going up" means something different to him. I used to go every week but after that experience it's been over a month since I've been back.

As a beginning Magic player, I found this store really useful and friendly. I've bought big boxes of common/uncommon cards, booster packs, deck boxes, and individual cards here. Reuben and Dalton have always been generous with their time and advice. If I had to list a downside, it's that the restroom is not easy to get to; you have to get a key and go outside the store, and navigate a set of turns to find it.

Customer service is a 11/10! The man behind the counter was very friendly and inviting! Asked me if he could help me find what I was looking for and I was stunned by the level of organization from this card shop. The prices of the cards I asked about are very reasonable and competitively priced. I almost walked out with a whole bunch but I didn't have too much time on my hands. Next time I'm in town I'm definitely dedicating a good chunk of time to fill in my decks with better cards from here. Awesome experience! The token cards are 10 cents each.

The guy that works here is extremely rude and condescending, also creepy around women, not sure what that is about. Can't exactly feel safe in a place run by someone like this. It's unfortunate, but you've just lost 2 customers forever

Been going here for a while and I notice that a while back they started making up their prices higher then what they should be and I will definitely not pay extra for something that I can buy else where for the regular price. Lost my business. They are friendly but get carried away talking to other customers about magic make other clients wait in line longer then needed...
